Well, you seem to be on the right track with exercise & a weightloss plan from your doctor. However, if you have found yourself at a "stand still" with your weightloss, you may want to up your execise routine... or ask your doctor to revise your weightloss plan.
I had three children under three years old. I am blessed to be a naturally thin person, but after my third baby arrived I had an extra 10-15 lbs. to loose, and I seriously needed to re-tone my stretched out tummy & theigh muscles. This wasn't an overnight event, but like anyone trying to loose weight it took a ROUTINE of exercise & healthy eating. I lost the baby weight within months by exercising 3-4 times a week, and revising my diet. I run, because that is what I enjoy doing... you, of course, need to find an exercise that you enjoy & will stick to -- rather than one you dislike & will quit. Maybe aerobics? Of course, sit-ups are a big help too!
Secondly, change your diet. I have never been someone who has to worry about what I eat, but after having kids, I noticed that was no longer the case. Our stomach muscles are so lax after being stretched out, that the slightest indulgence causes our bodies to pooch out. Plus, if you just weaned your baby, your body is going to need time to adjust to just eating for one again. When nursing, your body stores more nutrients (and fats) for baby. Now that baby isn't taking these from you, guess where they go? Yep, into YOUR THIEGHS! ;)
Try smaller portions at meal time with a few small snacks inbetween (raw veggies are ideal). Cut out junk food. With your hormones still changing you are going to be craving junk... don't give in! When you are craving chips eat carrots, when you want ice cream eat cottage cheese with pineapple... always choose the healthier food. Plus, do NOT snack at night! This was a biggy for me. My hubby and I usally watched a movie with buttery popcorn after the kids went to bed. Not any more... I stopped eating after 7pm and that made the most dramatic difference in my weight loss. It was the final key in helping me loose those "last 3 pounds". When I absolutely MUST have a snack, I opt for carrot or celery sticks (no ranch dip late at night though). ...And of course... drink lots & lots of water!
The key to it all is consistancy! Don't quit... if you find yourself without time to work out because you are busy with the kids, take your little ones to the park. Kick a soccer ball around with your 4 year old. That will be fun & great exercise for both of you.
Good luck... and love those little ones!

First of all NEVER EVER use that Hydroxy cut or that xenadrine..Bad for your body!
Have you tried to lay of the "white" stuff?
Sugar, white bread, pasta's..You know the bad carbs!
Try to eat 6 small meals a day. Exactly what are you doing as far as exercising?
Do you go to the gym?
Your best plan is to eat the small meals and do some cardio then do some weight lifting..not heavy weights (at least not yet, you won't see the results you are looking for)
You want to change some of that fat into muscle! If you start of to heavy then you may actually gain weight or stay at the weight you are at, due to the muscle weighs more then fat issue!
So good luck stay away from bad carbs (with an occasional dip into some chocolate, because if you don't let yourself do that once in awhile, you will end up purging on it) and do the cardio and weight training>

Weight Watcher's worked wonders for me. You'll be amazed by using the points system how much food you can enjoy while staying within your limit and losing the weight you want to lose. I did it on-line because I wasn't interested in sitting in a room full of overweight women complaining but if you need that support then go to the meetings. Don't blame it on the pregnancies though, we do it to ourselves by picking up bad habits. Again, if you join Weight Watchers (or any other weight loss program I assume), you'll learn to develop new habits. I stopped Weight Watchers not because I'd lost all the weight I wanted but because after losing 25lbs, I found my fat had turned to simply lose skin so I joined Curves. I'm not really watching what I eat @ the moment and although I have been going to Curves for 2 1/2 months I haven't lost any more weight but I have lost 4 1/2 inches from arms to thighs which is great. Another few inches and I'll be ready to go back to dieting. In my opinion, you better go slow to avoid going back to your bad habits. Good Luck. LOL

I'm 5'5" and my goal weight is 125 so my nutritionist told me to keep a food diary and only eat 1400 calories a day. That's a lot.. but you have to keep track of it because those calories can sneak in if you don't watch them. Don't waste your calories on too much junk food or you won't feel full. You can 3 meals and 2 snacks with 1400 or 1300 calories. Also, aerobics need to be 45-60 minutes a day most days of the week. Work on gradually increasing pace and mix it up if you hit plateau.

My best friend has tried everything to loose some weight after pregnancy. So, she just gave up and think positive and just concentrate taking care of her baby. Couple of months later, she didn't even realize it, she dropped pounds coz she's been working around the house and especially with the baby! So, I'm not gonna recommend you to work out or exercise like crazy, take diet pills. Just be positive, eat what you want (veggies are very important!!), stop when you full up, work around the house could decrease those fats without you realize it, mommy! ;-)

hi go and see these guys, hey have the best products and advice, it worked for me and my sister and now our friends are losing weight after using them. if losing some pounds of any description is what you want then I used a great website and coach who helped me. They were very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so fairly easily. The website is www.myhealthabcmall.com once you fill in your details then you can see the full range of products they have. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight, its all nutrition based.
I lost all my weight in less than three months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them, the tips you get and encouragement are excellent (their advice and time is FREE). I am still with them so I stay healthy. If you just want to buy the products and not use the coaching then you can do that aswell, there is a link in there to email them so you can tell them you just want to buy and not speak to anyone. The owners will even advise you via email on what to purchase depending on what you want to lose, my sister did it this way (she was more self conscious than me) and lost 76 pounds in less than five months. These guys are just great, try them.

so many comments but everyone is blowing the same whistle, cut the carbs do exercises and have complete rest and that's it. every single one into weight loss knows better that these all are must to do, but I am gonna tell you my success story, I have managed to lose with slight change in my living, I am drinking lots of water especially warm no soft or hard drinks, red meat, white flour, white rice all are diminished significantly and using a supplement "beyond weight management tea" , its organic no preservatives and you wont believe what wonders it did to me.
