Go to the doctor. . could be strep, could be the flu - could be some form of a respiratory infection in the works.

Better safe than sorry!!!

Tell your parent(s). Then, I would go to the emergency room IMMEDIATELY! I mean, I don't know about water, but since it hurts to swallow your own saliva (and saliva and water are both liquids), I don't think you'll be able to swallow water either. Just go to the emergency room. Not later, not five more minutes, just go NOW. I would go to the emergency room too if there were no doctors until Tuesday.

No way of knowing for sure, go to the doctor and get a culture done, you may have strep throat and need antibiotics. Any hot drink may make it feel better momentarily.

Probably strep throat.

Go to the doctor.

The hot drink won't help, you need antibiotics if it is a bacteria

maybe......maybe not....DO you smoke? Is their a history of "throat cancer " in your family?....Don't panic but these are issues for a Doctor to sort out if you really want to know the truth.........not some "Keyboard Physician".........
