My husband is having a neurotransmitter implanted into his spinal column. I did not go with him to his doctors appointment and he did not ask many questions. I do know that this is done in two stages , first the wires are inserted into the spinal column, and about 10 days later the transmitter is implanted around the hip area. My nephew had this done 6 years ago and had 10 inch incission along his spinal column and a 6 inch incission on his hip. I would think that this method has improved since then. Anyone had one of know of someone that has. Also the doctor did mention that it would be done under general anesthesia as he does not want his patients to move.

I have this excrutiating pain in my pelvic area ? What can this be ? I jogged 1 mile and a half yesterday.Though I haven't jogged in 3 months but I do exercise regulary on my stationary bike and run up and down my stairs daily.I am about 60 pounds overweight but I have no debilitating physical conditions.

dear who ever i wanted to go to a camp over the summer but we had to have a physical by the way i am 12 so any way when i went to the physical they examened every inch of my body and i had to give a form t the camp explaning how helthy i was butr i could not go to the camp becuse i had a infection in my vigina and insted i hd to be in the hospitle leting them look at MY vigina.Do you know of any way not to get a physical every ear so i could go to any camp?

I just got my tongue pierced and it seems like my mouth is always so dry. I don't breathe with my mouth open, but it seems like my mouth is constantly dry. Is this normal? If so, why is this happening? Has anyone else felt this way? HELP!?

I keep having a problem where I seems like I am helpless. It seems like I am trapped and like I am hallucinating, but in all actuality, I am not. Sometimes, it makes me sleep a lot, sometimes I sleep very little. It has happened three times since August 2006. The first time, the doctors said that it was depression, so they prescribed me Clonazapem. The second time, they thought that it was an allergic reaction to an antihistamine (since three times before I had been taking anithistmaines for other problems, so they were always prevalent). Also in the second time, I had no reason to be depressed and took an antibiotic to help me get over a stomach virus. The third time was the worse. I got into a fight with my father on Christmas Eve, and for some reason I knew it was going to happen again. These episodes usually last for a week, and it seems as if nonsensical things are happening, and it feels as if nothing is real. I have no clue what is wrong with me and would just like some answers.

Spouse is in alcohoic treatment for 4 weeks and seems oblivious to how this experience is affecting me and our relationship. Seems very narcissitic (sp?_ and rigid in thinking. I know/attend Al Anon and family education meetings but this issue is not addressed and we are not given any information at all how family member is doing in treatment. Are spouses always left in the dark with no information on how patient is doing or what we are to expect if anything once they are through with treatment, besides to support their new found sobriety?

According to my BMI I am obese, I have a hard time exercising b/c of being a mom having a full time job and being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia?? Think this actually works? Each of my 2nd incisors are bridged teeth...so I have my front teeth, then the next ones on each side are fake, then the rest are mine. I'm looking for a way to whiten my teeth without it being a dentist procedure. I know I can't get them completely white but would they lighten up a little bit with home methods? It seems like they've all become more stained since I got the bridge 6 or 7 years ago. Any suggestions?
