with a Q-tip I went a little to deep and hit something, It's been about 1 week, there was pain for about the first 3 days now it's gone but I can barely hear.

I have done this before. You probably perferated your eardrum. You need to get to a doctor and get it checked out. You could lose your hearing forever if you don't.

See your MD ASAP,and never put anything in your ear smaller than your elbow !! Poking around in the ear's is a no-no,and that's the reason why. Good luck. SW RNP

Sounds (no pun intended) like you may have punctured your eardrum. You need to get to your doctor immediately. The sooner you see him, the better chance you have of getting it fixed. If you wait too long, you could have permanent damage. Best of luck to you!

you damaged your ear drum, luckily if you can hear something then the doctor can probably help you, if you couldn't hear anything at all, you probably never will again. go to the doctor......

try putting warm olive oil in ear..a drop or two
