HIV is spread by saliva or bodily fluids entering your body through the membranes. For example, if you make out with someone who carries the virus and his/her tooth cuts your lip you can become infected from their saliva. The inside of the mouth is a source for the virus to enter. Syphillis, I believe, can only be spread by intimate sexual contact-more than kissing.

Chose your partners carefully. And Remember that casual sex is not smart. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something that you don't want to do.

yes it is possible to get HIV from kissing. Syphillis, too. The best solution is for you and your partner to get tested before any sexual or intimate contact/ situations. If you already have Syphillis go to the clinic. I don't know how HIV can be rid off because I'm sure that it is incurable. To kill HIV-1, Herpes Simplex Type 2 or previously soiled objects you should spray "Lynx surface disinfectant spray" on the object's surface.
