I have this excrutiating pain in my pelvic area ? What can this be ? I jogged 1 mile and a half yesterday.Though I haven't jogged in 3 months but I do exercise regulary on my stationary bike and run up and down my stairs daily.I am about 60 pounds overweight but I have no debilitating physical conditions.

Did you stretch before and after jogging? When I began jogging I went slowly, are you pushing it too early? Jogging uses different muscles than a bike or stairs so I would stretch all of your muscles out a lot - begin walking for at least 10 min. and then jog. Good for you for exercising!

I would also recommend stretching thoroughly and drinking a lot of fluids. If you start to cramp up while running in any way, calm down and just walk the rest. Walking is still better than nothing and slowly your body will become more athletic and you won't cramp. Good for you exercising, keep it up and don't let this pelvic pain stop you. Of course if this lingers you might want a medical opinion, but give it some time, because judging by your 60 lbs overweight it just sounds like your body is like "WHOA HOLD ON, I'd rather watch TV" so don't give in. :-)
