i have a red small puffed part on my bottom eyelash of my right eye. it hurts when i close my eye & force it shut. it also itches. on my bottom eyelash its all red & the red small puffed part is towards the inside (next to my nose). my eye also starts to crust @ certain moments. & it hurts like someone punched me on my eye. this is not the first time it has happened. something similar happened a couple of weeks ago. but instead the red small puffed out part was on the outside of my eye. & it would also start to crust & it was harder to open my eye (like my eye was closing in). another similar incident also happened last year in the summer. but my top eyelid swolled up & kept closing in on my eye. everyone thought this one happened because of the abundant amount of chorlene water in the pool. & the other incidents happened cuz maybe i touched a cat & rubbed my eye. but i haven't been near a cat in so long, & that i can remember i haven't rubbed my eye, either.

I don't have access to a gym, nor do I have a neighborhood good for running in. What are some exercises recommended for a 14-yr-old hoping to make the most of her summer, and get fit for a season of cross-country? Thanks!

So here is my problem:
I start my day not being hungry at all, with the sense of overeating (which is probably true, read on), and any tought of food will make me feel like throwing up. Later on, at about 4 or 5, i suddenly start shaking, and i feel as though i can eat a horse (literaly). And that's exactly what I do. I want to get rid of the hunger and shaking, so I eat untill I'm full. This repeats, and sometimes i wake up suddenly at night, and i just have to eat something. I've tried to break down my big meals into smaller, and more, portions throughout the day, but as i said before, i still feel sick, and when i suddenly get hungry again, i can't continue my day without getting rid of the shaking (which takes untill im well full). If I don't eat, I shake like crazy, if i do, I feel sick.I just don't know why this is happening or what i can do about it. Does anyone know why my hunger is so sudden? (And I have no known medical conditions)
Please help, serious answers only.

I got my braces off 3 years ago and i havent worn my retainer since august/september 2005. Now my bottom tooth is turning in a bit and my canine looks like it it sticking out a bit...luckily they are not very noticeable. If i start wearing my retainer, will it help fix it?
The reason why i stopped wearing my retainer is b/c it was uncomfortable and a hassle. Should I ak my orthodontist about a clear retainer? Will I need braces again? Thanks

Most nights i lay down to go to sleep and it's usually at least 30 to 45 minutes before i actually fall asleep. My mind is either going a mile a minute thinking of all sorts of things, most of them nonsensical, or I'm tossing and turning from left to right every 5 minutes or so because i just can't get comfortable!

It's not that I'm stressing over anything because my thoughts never revolve around any one thing; they're just random. It's like a burst water main that i can't shut off. :-(

Can anyone give me some advice before i go to see a doctor?

OH, i should mention this... i have a cousin who's a pharmacist. I mentioned this to him and he gave me some tablets to try whenever i felt like this. They worked like a charm and i really slept well. I researched them on the net and discovered that they were anti-epileptic tablets. They basically slowed down the electrical impulses in the brain. No wonder why they worked so well! (Epilepsy also DOES run in my family...)

For several months now most of the time I feel as if I need to urinate way to frequently, often an urgent need, and uaully not able to sqeeze a drop, and when I do its a small amount only to have the need bare minutes later. I've been to doctors and specialist and baffle modern medicine. Do you know of anything I could take, as far as food or drink like cranberry juice that would benifit me.

He had his nose broken when he was little (parents never got it fixed), he's ALWAYS snoring (even when he's laying on his side). Those breathe right strips don't work and he won't go to the doctors for a mouth guard. Are there any home remedies I can get him to try that will work? It is making it IMPOSSIBLE to sleep, and I'm a heavy sleeper. Plus if he sleeps on his side he gets sleep apnea. He won't sleep on his stomach because he has digestive problems.

I realize how convoluted this can all be. I've been in touch with several doctors, nurses, health-care agencies, and a Medicare rep. All I can say is the information I've obtained has been sketchy at best. Mom is in final stages of cancer and a related rare disease called amyloidosis. She requires full-time care now, and we've hired sitters to help us, but we can't do this for any length of time. She's not currently under hospice, although she certainly qualifies for that. Thank God pain management has not been an issue, but having people who can help take of her now that she is becoming totally bedfast is a major issue. Does anyone know who we can contact that might have some answers and help us wade through all this mess???????? If any of you have had any experience with home health care and Medicare, I would certainly welcome your input as well. Thank you!

I would usually get a migrained every few months or so, for a day and sleep would help. Well this past week I had a very stressful experience with my tires being slit on my new car, and vandalism, ect...ever since then i have had a migraine every single day. so severe and no tylenol or headache reliefs or even perks will help it go away. i dont wake up with it though, but it sets in a few hours later. im really worried and concerned, its bad. ...i dont know if its related to that stressful event or something else, but my gosh, should i be worried?
