Have either of you asked a dr about it? Surely there is something that can be done to help him out so that you can sleep. As far a a mouth guard, you can buy one at Wal-Mart in the Rx section.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

Let me just say, join the club, aren't they a pest or what?? I have the same problem but what I do most of the time is just sleep in our sofa that we have in our bedroom. It does make him feel bad because I always end up sleeping out. But one thing that you must know, when men snores, they are very tired. Yes every time he start snoring make sure that you turn him on his side and it will stop the snoring, second before he sleep make him put a strip on top of his nose. Or buy a nose spray that can him breath easily when he sleep. But the remedy that I have is I bought him this pillow from JC penny that help him breath at night.hope this help...

If this isn't interfering with his health, get YOURSELF some good ear plugs! I saw a cute comment in an advice column once. A wife was complaining about her snoring husband and the reply was something to the effect that she should be grateful he was lying next to her and was alive. So there's the upside. ;)

My hubby and I have been married for 18 years. He has really serious sleep apnea that has caused major problems with his heart and a stroke. For years the snoring was so bad it would drive me out of the bedroom onto the couch just so I could get a few hours of good sleep. Now we have found that he sleeps very well, (no apnea and very little snoring) if he sleeps in a recliner. Now I have the bed all to myself and I get a full nights sleep.

Try this spray that lubricates the throat and will make it harder to snore. I also got a long body pillow that I put across the top of the bed and then we each put our own pillow on it. When my hubby starts to snore, I give a little tug on the pillow. He lays on this side and faces the other way, so the tug makes his head go back slightly and opens up his throat more. I wish you the best of luck and patience. Snoring drives me nuts too and I refuse to sleep in a separate bed.

I would sleep in a different room. He has a problen that could be fixed if he would see a doctor. It sounds like some potentially serious problems too. He is making a choice and he apparently knows that the snoring bothers you so I would not feel bad about sleeping in another room.
You also have to consider your own health. If you are not getting proper rest you are also going to get sick or hurt.
Another option. albiet difficult, unless you are a saint would be to "reframe" the problem and say thank God he is here with me and that he is breathing.

I would move to another bed or the couch since he won't go to a Dr. for help. Also those bedside machines that play background noise or ocean waves help a little.
