My pants are loose and I feel a little bit thinner. Why have I only lost 1 lb?

because muscle weights more than fat...when you are working out your are building up muscles. You really need to get rid of your scale and judge your progress with a tape measure. You can be skinny and perfectly fit and still weight 150. Its the muscle.

You are probably gaining muscle. Muscle is denser than fat so it takes more muscle to cover the same area that would have been covered by fat. When your body fat percentage goes down and the amount of lean muscle you have goes up, you will appear slimmer even though your scale doesn't show a loss or even shows a gain.

you may have lost some fat but gained some muscle. Muscle is denser than fat that is why you feel thinner but the scale hasn't changed much.

muscle weighs more than fat, but take up less space. You can be a size 3 and weigh 140. It's all muscle. don't worry about your weight!!! Congrats on the size loss! After all, its all about looking better and being healthier isn't it? Weight has nothing to do with how you look! :)

Muscle weighs more than fat. Measure yourself to see how you are progressing and get a scale that measures your body's fat ratio. That's a better rating of how your workouts are helping. Good luck.

Muscle weighs more than fat, especially if you've been weight training. Focus on how your clothes fit, not what the scale says.

food you eat have 75% effect on your body. exercise is only 25%. it's a lot more effective to control what you eat than to exercise.
