The tip of my big toe on my left foot has been numb for the past couple weeks, I have also had horrible headaches. I just discovered that in reflexology there is a correlation between the big toe and your head. Can someone please explain to me exactly what a Reflexologist would do to help my headache?

I've had problems with both of my ankles pretty much my whole life. When I was younger I participated a lot in sports, and in my teens injured them several time. The last couple of years the right ankle has been getting progressivly worse.
I went to the doctor yesterday because it had been hurting since Tues when I think it turned under (but it may have been the left)
Beginning to think it's never going to completely heal because despite everything I've done in the last 5-6 year it seems to just keep getting worse and the doctors just keep doing the same things over and over. Starting to feel a little hopeless and wondering if anyone has any ideas as far as at least managing the pain and making the joint more stable.

Me and my mother are having this debate. She says alcoholism is a disease. I disagree. I think it's an addiction that can cause a disease - such as liver damage, etc. But do not think it's a disease on its own. To me, saying that alcoholism is a disease is like saying an addiction like smoking is a disease. Just trying to get some thoughts on this.

I should also add that my father, who I love to death, is an alcoholic and I am not saying anything bad about people who are alcoholics. I know it's a horrible addiction. I'm really just trying to see what other people think. Thank you!!

When people ask questions about general health or diet, I answer them with my opinion (which is the knowledge I have gathered on the natural health field over the years). I get so many "thumbs down" when I suggest things like eating lots of fruits and vegetables, ommiting sugar from a babies diet, or simply using yoga and meditation to assist with depression or anxiety. Why all the haters? Can anyone explain this to me?

For the past several months, I have had uncontrollable gas, especially after I eat a meal. And my stomach is constantly growling. Also, I think I should be having more bowel movements then I'm having. I can eat, eat, eat and not have a bowel movement for a couple of days.

I don't want to go to the doctor and was wondering if there is something over-the-counter I can take to cure this problem. It's really annoying...and embarrassing.

I had an appointment to have an IUD put in but hadn't gotten my period yet so they sent me for a blood pregnancy test, which came up negative. They rescheduled my appointment for a week later and I still hadn't gotten my period. so they did a urine test an dthat came up negative. I have had the IUD in for 3 days now and had alot of cramping, back ache, headache and I'm nautious. So I took a home pregnancy test and it is positive. Has this ever happened before?
