(no bleeding), he is an average 3 year old (little on the short size but average toddler. Curious if anyone knows anything about this or has experienced this with their child, I would appreciate advice and direction on how to care for it, if needed. ty

Children can start losing baby teeth any time between 4 and 7 years of age, earlier especially if they started teething early. The first teeth in are usually the first out, most commonly the two middle bottom front teeth. It's also possible that your son knocked it a bit if he fell. If you are really concerned, you can take him to a dentist and hope he'll sit still for an xray (which may not be needed, but it will be able to tell if there is a fracture or how far away the permanent tooth is). It may be just a little loose and not come out for a while yet. The only way to know for sure is to go to the dentist. =)

All babies teeth get loose and fall out and are replaced by the adult teeth. You don't have to do anything except leave something from the tooth fairy when it falls out.

They're baby teeth for a reason; they have to fall out.

perfectly normal. baby teeth are supposed to fall out, and it usually starts at the front.
