Symptoms of cancer are different depending on what type of cancer it is.
As for small amounts of blood from your nose, I think you can safely rule out cancer. It could be caused by a rupture of a small blood vessel in your nose or sinus. If it gets worse and continues see a Dr. Otherwise try titling your head back and place a cold ice pack on your nose.

What type of cancer? It is doubtful that the blood from your nose is an indication of cancer. You've probably got an infection or it is too dry where you live and you need a humidifer/vaporizer. Different types of cancer present with different types of symptoms...usually however if there ARE symptoms then it's pretty much too late.

Blood coming from your nose could be any of a hundred different things. Cancer would be WAY down on the list, unless you have some other reason to believe that you have cancer (like pain, weight loss, malaise, fatigue)
If you are concerned, you'll need to be examined by a doctor.

Most likely blood from your nose is not cancer.
If you are running the heater at your house, your sinus is dried out.
Get a Saline nasal spray (Not a medicated allergy medicine).
This just has Saline and water in it. It is a moisturizer for your sinus. Ask the pharmacist for it.
If you use it, it will moisturize your nostrils, and the blood will stop.
If you end up with serious nose bleeds, go to the doctor. He will need to cauterize the blood vessel to stop the bleeding.

Nosebleeds commonly occur in winter from dry air, irritation from a runny nose, and lingering effects of a cold. There is no cancer where the only symptom is a bloody nose. Cancers have multiple symptoms.
