For the past several months, I have had uncontrollable gas, especially after I eat a meal. And my stomach is constantly growling. Also, I think I should be having more bowel movements then I'm having. I can eat, eat, eat and not have a bowel movement for a couple of days.

I don't want to go to the doctor and was wondering if there is something over-the-counter I can take to cure this problem. It's really annoying...and embarrassing.

that is a stomach condition, take a laxative, but you better go to a doctor anyways, theres no shame or problem with going to the doctors.

It's worth going to the doctor for. Except you haven't tried treating it since it happened.
To relief that a bit, try having a antacid like mylanta four times daily. Below is a link to a great review of the treatment and possible sickness.
Antacid works by neutralizing the acid in your stomach, sometimes gas build ups can be caused by an unexpected level of stomach acid. Try taking this for a couple of days and see how it works. While doing this make sure you consume food that's won't stir up the stomach acid level, and food that wont build more gas. More info on the diet on the link below. =[ If no changes happened, you might need to visit the doctor.
If you know that it's caused by food poisoning, take two tablets of activated charcoal.

I hope you get better soon. =]
