Crunches will take a while and would not work to lose the weight also a 100 is not enough. I eat one meal a day, drink a lot of water, and I do 300 plus crunches everyday to tone up my abs to do the rest of my body I do yoga. The best thing for u would be jogging because jogging helps u burn the calories u need and also tones u up, and it is good for ur heart. Eating the right foods is also a plus because u are not taking in all the fatty foods that u love to eat. Try to eat between 1200-2000 calories a day (if u are going to do any type of exercise u should eat a very good healthy meal and make sure u have three meals a day).Under 500 is a huge risk so don't do it. If u crave for snacks pick up some fruits or energy bars. NO FATTY FOODS OR SNACKS!!! So Good Luck!!!!

1-2 pounds per week is a HEALTHY weight loss. You certainly could lose more than that but you would be putting your health at risk and are more likely to gain it back later. You should be eating a lot more than 500 calories a day and the crunches won't do anything but tone your abs, you need to be doing cardio. Go to SparkPeople.com and sign up, it is free and will help you figure out how many calories, fat, carbs etc you need to be eating to lose weight for your age and height.

No matter how much you weigh eating 500 calories a day is not healthy. Try to eat around 1200...if you really are overweight you could lose 5-10lbs in a month. If you starve yourself, your body will actually go into starvation mode and prevent you from losing weight. Doing crunches will help you gain muscle but cardio will burn more calories...try walking or running to increase weight loss. Good luck!

my best advice , and you probably don't want to hear this, but try to take it slower. drinking a lot of water is always a good decision not only for your weight but also for your skin, mind, etc. and my favorite exercise is walking. i read about a study that showed walking briskly for at least 30 minutes a day, can prevent you from gaining a pound, of course you would still have to probably eat sensibly. Another way is to speed up your metabolism. tea, especially green, really affects your metabolism. I just want to urge you not to crash diet the way this description describes- they never work out and they're very unhealthy
