my sides tend to cramp up. i feel very uncomfortable.

percolage (sp?) stool softener. Mineral oil also works.

I have also found White Castle hambergers have a medicinal benefit. :-)

Also - drink a lot of water, and if weather permits, go for long walks. People who are dehyraded tend to get stoppered up.

well i am pregnant and lol use to get constipated all the time. but what i started was lol eating raisin brad one bowl in the mornings and drink more water during the day, thats what i do and eating on bowl a day keeps me regulated. with out all the nasty fiber drinks or pills, or stool softeners, or enemas. and eating raisin bran works with out the feeling of diareah and cramping like laxitives. but thats what i do it might work for you. there is a new yogert out there activia thats supose to help also but ive not tried it

I put about 2 teaspoons of Citrucel (actually I buy the Equate brand) into a small glass of orange juice, stir it up well and drink it every night before going to bed. You'll move the next morning. Although it's a little grainy tasting, it tastes really good.
