I'm a nursing student and I have to learn how to start IV's next semester. I'm pretty anxious about it. I know it's part of the job and I just have to get used it but I have trouble sticking peple. I was so nervous when I gave my first shot this past semester. Anybody have any tips or anything that could help? I'd appreciate it if only people with experience replies.

I just got a palate expander and it's a real annoyance. -_-

I was just wondering if there was any possible or safe way to tongue-kiss somebody if you have one of those in your mouth. I really hope so, because I might visit (or be visited by) my lover this summer when I'll still have this in my mouth, and it would really suck to not be able to kiss. =[

Probally about 3 days ago i noticed a bump growing underneath my breast, it hurts a bit, and it's underneath the skin. I think it might just be a pimple but it also feels much bigger then a pimple, and it's not coming to a head. I was wondering how long i should wait before I get it checked by a doctor, I have no health insurance till January 22nd, can it wait till then?.. Or do i even have to get it checked?

I started my period about 3.5 years ago and it still hasn't evened out. Right after I started, I gained around 40 pounds (and I wasn't being lazy or eating bad). I have severe cramps and have to miss school and work because of it. I also get diarrhea and headaches. Recently my mom had cysts removed and my aunt had a hysterectomy. Please tell me if it's possible that I have PCOS.

...and what meds are typicially prescribed. You see, I have a younger sister who is manifesting text-book symptoms; she's paranoid, she thinks a lie is the truth, she falsifies documents
(legal and otherwise) to support what she thinks she wants, she is completely amoral, unethical, extremely manipulative, and a thief.
Her profession before she became destabilized was a Glddigger-a very good one ( in the context of what a "good" Goldigger is-she was the Queen of All Goldiggers, until she was diagnosed w/multiple schlarosis, then mentally came undone. A week or so from now she will become homeless and she and all of the remainder of her extensive wardrobe will be w/out a place to be.
I have set-up social security and medical, and two psychiatrists who will treat her. Until now, she wouldnt go to any doctor - but the only way that she will not be homeless,is if she contacts them &, goes for the accessment. The family anticipates that they will recommend a lock-down facility.

Yeah, I know a great deal of people have this problem but I'm just wondering if anyone had some quick dieting or exercise tips to work with? I'm 5'2" and 135lbs(going for 125lbs), but, most of the weight is in my chest(36D) and my bottom. I've lost 30lbs since May and I just want to tone up my center a little more.

My oldest son (he's 4) was sick for 3 days with a stomach bug. I had to take him to the hospital because he was becoming dehydrated. My biggest fear is "catching" that.. I have been frequently washing my hands, and keeping everything clean.. I have a younger son and I need to be able to take care of both of my boys. I am just really affraid of getting anything like that. I mean he was really sick. So how contagious is it, and is there anything else I can do to prevent myself and anyone else from geting that?

Off lexapro 50mg, & put on Seroquel now for about 3 weeks. Oh my gosh I don't hear what people are telling me sometimes. It goes through 1 ear & out the other & I gotta ask what did you say. No weight gain just yet thank god. Thanks for your help.

My ex-boyfriend is now dating another girl. It hurts a lot to see them together, but it sucks because I see them everyday.
