stress can play a great role in headaches, often they can even trigure a migraine. stress acute or chronic clamps the blood vessels in the head and other parts of the body and causes pain. the best way to try and prevent this body relaxation. when you feel yourself getting tense take a couple minutes to deep breathe, oygen is forced to the head and opens up blood vessels. if none of these work you might be suffering from another form of frequent headache and you might need to see a doctor.

Yes- When stressed, one clenches muscles- eg; jaw-from clenched teeth, high shoulder/back area- also from clenched teeth, arms, or sitting more upright than you realise, when you get angry. These strained muscles pull up the back of the neck and tighten up at the back bottom half of your head, leading to pain or discomfort. Stress is the #1 cause of headaches, sore eyes, sore jaws and back pain.
