there's this dance coming up. im going w/ this guy i really like. i wanna look hot. how do i lose some weight and tone up in a month?

Thats gunna be hard to do.
so follow these simple instructions, and maybe do some
research of your owne.

1. Eat healthy,
a.) look up negative calorie list online. eat those foods, with your mane meals, and snacks.
b.) Get all the food sorces you need look up the food paramyde and get all those foods in your daily eating.
c.) watch out for the trans fats.

2.exercise. Don't excercise too much. Your body may not be able to handle it.
a.)run, maybe a mile three times a week. maybe less maybe more. Do what keeps you feeling ok.
b.) Do sit-ups or cruches, helps you get a flatter stomache.
aim to do higher than 50 a day.
c.)find another sport you like and play that alot, on a team, or just with friends.

3. Don't spend all your time eating well !
a.) eat some thing you like but make sure its not like a double big mac, or just a big mac. more like a slice of cake, a smore, some dark chocolate.
b.) you can also go to trader joes they have some really good, and really healthy foods.(no pudge brownies. made with yogurt. you would NEVER know)
c.)Go to safeway or close food store and go to the frosen section and look for SMART ONES. those are really good, but really healthy deserts.

you should have been thinking about this at the beginning of the school year or the middle of summer. unless you are morbidly obese, it is unhealthy to lose 10-15 lbs in a month and not enough time to tone up. if you eat sensibly, eat a high fiber, low fat meal plan with plenty of fruits, vegies, soy, and lean proteins, and drink plenty of green tea and water to help flush toxins from your body.with 60 minutes of cardio and weight lifting a day, you could expect to lose about 8 lbs. you may tone slightly as well. if this guy really likes you, you already look hot to him. he's agreed to go with you, so there must be something about you that he likes. find a dress that enhances your existing shape. ask the salesperson to help you with this. be yourself. dress up and be the young lady he agreed to be with.

Eat six small meals a day. Write down everything you eat so that you'll feel gross and guilty if you write down junk food. Keep a chart of calories you've eaten.
Drink milk, it's been shown to help people lose weight (it fills you up SOO fast!)
Potato is the most filling food (sure, it's carbs, but you never overeat after eating a potato).
Eat mostly lean meats and vegetables with much fiber.
Hot water also fills you up!
Gradually reduce food intake.

Well if you seriously want to lose the weight fast you have to exercise at least 1 1/2 hour a day and limit your food intake to around 1100 calories. If you stick to it you WILL lose the weight.

Do not drink or eat the following:
pop, candy, cookies, potatoes chips. Eat only until your hunger is satisfied and (not stuffed), nothing fried, no diet pop, or diet food, limit your bread and it should be bran or whole wheat, drink a lot of water, and eat raw vegetables (it takes more calories to chew than the amount they contain) Do not skip light breakfast and do not eat anything after 6pm

You can only lose about 8 pounds a month max safely. Count your calories, do some walking, running, or aerobics, do strength training. You'll have to really commit to lose those 8.

wow 10-15 ibs is tough. i hope your metabolism is fast. to tone yourself in a month, i would suggest pilates. i've never personally tried them but i've heard good things. you could join a gym but if you're short on cash, research online for exercises. if they don't work, walk, jog, do push up, sit ups...and you could change your diet. stop drinking soda and only drink water. cut down on junk food.

If you are really determined, you can do it. Just make sure there is more exercise than cuttting down on food.
But first check that that weight loss is ok. (I don't know how much you weigh).
