I bruise sooo easily... I live with it. Unfortunatly people have quietly come up to me asking if i'm being knocked around and offering help. I'm not being hit! Is there any way to heal a bruise quickly?

My granny is in her eighties and her joints are getting weaker each day, especially her two kneecaps, which are really hurting. It really pains my heart to see her condition deteriorate, she used to be able to limp her way around, but now she can hardly walk......knee guards and health supplements for the ligament doesn't seem to work, or maybe this is juz something that the elderly have to bear with as they age......anyone out there with any experience care to share their solutions, or even offer me some things my granny can do, I would like to thank you beforehand because I really do not know what more I as a grandson can do to ease her pain......

I went to sleep and woke up feeling terribly bloted, my shoes dont fit!!! I think its all about the drinking the night before... red wine btw.
Does anyone know how to fix this?? should I drink lots of water and take a pill or something that makes me shed all the extra water in my body?

Hi. I got my period on the 15th of November. On the 1st I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend (he pulled out) YES in time.

I was due to get my period around 12/13. It's the 17th now. I've noticed that I have a lot of clear/whitish discharge.

took preg test yesterday. NEG.
Any clues?

Do people realize that if they try to OD on acetaminophen that they could die from LIVER FAILURE!! Don't do this, liver failure is a horrible way to die. You basically waste away in your own toxins. I have taken care of so many people and those that have had liver transplants.. Please be careful!

my cat is handi-capped and has a chronic sore on bottom of his leg. he's had 2 unsuccessful surgeries to close it. the skin keeps breaking open since he walks on it (bandaged of course). i have recently read about the bauer bandage that's supposed to be good for this type wound. anyone familiar with it? or any other suggestion? because of the nature of his disability and handicapped walking, his leg can't be raised to lessen pressure or be put in a cast. he had a spinal injury and walks on his hocks or 'elbows' instead of his feet. thank you for any help.

My psych is closed until after New Years, how long do I let this sadness go on before I call for help. Part of this is I just went bsck to work and am very tired. Also my job that I lovedd just seemed to be a dead end. I am 53, single and the joboffers no prospect of retirement benefits. This is part of what is making me sad. i'm 19, almost 20 and i first got my period when i was about 17 and it was regular for the first year, then it just stopped. i am overweight, i do have facial hair, and i don't have awful acne but definitely some spots every once in a while. i'm so scared to go to a gynocolegist but having children someday is a huge dream for me and reading about this says it could make you infertile. i'm also worried about the heart problems it can cause. my questions are is how long without a period will cause major, major problems (like heart problems or infertility)? my other question is how is this treated and is there anything i can do on my own to help get my period going or am i just going to have to suck it up and go to the doctor ( :( )? reading about this really scares me that i will not be able to naturally have kids but i guess if i can get help for it now then i should. any input/support from people who have PCOS would be really helpful and very appreciated. thanks so much!

If your mother was infected but you didn't have it, you could still be a carrier....does this mean your future partner should be tested? What if he is a carrier? I am not certain I am a carrier, can I get a test? I never had it but my mother did..
