of course it's possible, no bc is 100%. I think the pill is around 95%, and that's if taken precisely.

Even if BC is taken properly there is always a chance you could get pregnant. If your not trying to get pregnant you should add a back up method of birth control. You and your man should discuss your options and decide what will work best for the both of you.

Well, as I'm sure you've heard, the only way to prevent pregnancy 100% is not having sex. This applies to birth control, this applies to condoms.

With that being said, yes, it is possible, but it is very, very, very improbable. Most forms of birth control are over 99% effective, as are condoms.

The bigger risk to unprotected sex is STD's. And I cannot emphasise how important it is to protect yourself, because people do lie. If everybody was honest and/or knowledgable about what STD's they had, there would be no spread of STD's and they would no longer exist.

As long as the guy doesn't "get off" in the girl during the week before her period, she can't get pregnant. I guess it happens once in a while but it's really rare. Even if she did get pregnant while on birth control, that would cause a miscarriage. That's why there are so many warnings on birth control pills saying you shouldn't take them while pregnant.

Yes!!! Birth control is not 100% if used "perfectly" its roughly 97% effective. however, its almost impossible to use them "perfectly" due to varying factors. Typical use is more around 92%. It's recommended that you use a condom with birth control because not only will that mean extra protection, but it protects you against STD's and HIV.
If you're worried about being pregnant you should talk to your Dr. and try one of the fertility tests that you can buy from a pharmacy

I'm a nurse. Anything is possible. There is a blood test she can take and you will know as soon as 24 hours after having sex. This test is quick in giving results. See a doctor.
