There no pros to having an uncircumcised penis! However, there are many cons, like hygiene - you will need to pull yopur foreskin right back as far as it will go, to expose the groove beneath the penis head and wash it thoroughly with war water and mild baby soap at least twice a day to reduce (you can never completely prevent it) smegma build-up behind your foreskin. Also you will be less comfortable with a sweaty foreskin covering your penis head and it will look unattractive to women. Your uncircumcised penis poses a greater risk of causing cervical; cancer in women with whom you have sex. Your uncircumcised penis will give you (and your partner) less pleasure during sex - for you, the blanket of foreskin prevents proper intimate contact with your partners vaginal wall in both directions (the foreskin will roll forward on the "Out stroke") and you will not have the pleasure of the tightness of your shaft skin pulling against the undersude of your penis head during sex. For your partner, the collar of rolled up foreskin will prevent her experiencing the frictional stimulation of her clitoral and labial areas which she would experience with the sliding of the tight shaft skin of a circumcised penis. There are many other "Cons" to remaining uncircumcised, but they are too numerous to list here. ALL MEN SHOULD BE CIRCUMCISED!

Having an uncircumcised penis has nothing to do with sex. The uncircumcised male requires a bit more attention to cleaning the penis than the circumcised male. If you are uncircumcised then the foreskin should be pulled back off the head of the penis and washed regularly, this helps stop the spread of infection to your partner. A circumcised male does not have to retract the foreskin and do this as the head of the penis is already exposed.
The other problem is that as males grow older the foreskin can shrink and cause a phimosis.

As a woman, I prefer uncircumcised penises. They are beautiful and natural, and circumcison is not natural and looks odd. Having had partners who were both circumcised and uncircumcised, I prefer playing with and giving oral sex to an uncircumcised man - there is more you can do, because there is more skin and nerve endings to stimulate, they tend to be more sensitive on the whole and the head of the penis is nicer and softer because it is not exposed all the time. You also don't need to lube, and a hand job is much simpler. The foreskin is full of nerve endings - my boyfriend gets incredibly aroused by having his foreskin stimulated. I also prefer sex with an uncircumcised man - you dry up less quickly and there is less friction at the opening of the vagina since the foreskin moves. A scientific study revealed a woman is 25% more likely to orgasm with an uncircumcised partner. I can't think of any pro's to being circumcised. I have never had an uncircumcised partner who didn't keep himself clean.

I don't believe there to be pros and cons for uncircumcised penis. At least not from my (female) point of view. Ive had both. And both were just fine. No real difference once a man is hard.
The foreskin pulls back to show the penis if uncircumcised. If circumcised there isn't any foreskin to pull back. No biggie. Ive asked both as well. And neither felt they were missing out on anything.

I'm a nurse. No you can have a good sex life without it. The primary purpose for circumcision is to protect the male from additional possibly harmful germs. I think you are fine. I wouldn't worry about it. There are many males out there who has never had this done and are living healthy sexual lives. You will be ok no matter what you decide to do. But just remember to do it only for you and nobody else. Make sure you will be happy with the decision, and move forward. Take Care of you first, whatever makes you happy.

Cons: Virtually NONE

PROS: Keep reading...

CIRCUMCISION IS VERY BENEFICIAL, its cleaner and several research bodies have concluded that circumcised men have less risk of contracting STD's such as AIDS-HIV or herpes.

Uncircumcised penises are difficult to keep clean, and more prone to infections and penile cancer, studies have shown.
A circumcised penis is naturally clean and virtually free from urinary infection. You will not have to worry again with careful washing of your penis.

About STD's:

As I said, several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have concluded that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. Circumcised men have been proved to be up to seven times less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site: http://icuxbridge.icnetwork.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=14095142&method=full&siteid=53340&headline=-circumcision-protects-against-aids--name_page.html

As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protects female partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html

About sensitivity of a circumcised penis:

No medical or physiological study has proved that circumcision reduces sensitivity, opposed to common belief. It is completely FALSE that circumcision reduces penis sensitivity. The American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm

Circumcision is an easy and nowadays *painless* procedure, which has many benefits, and virtually no risks.
Circumcision is NOT an amputation. Circumcision is NOT comparable at all to female circumcision, which is something completely different.

Circumcision rates are INCREASING nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African and South American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.

Finally, this site has a lot of useful and *unbiased* information. Make sure you have a good look: http://www.circinfo.net

Pros: Many! More than 80% of the men in the world are uncut and like it that way. I am a woman who has been with both cut and uncut men, and uncut is MUCH more pleasurable! Cut men often cannot ejaculate during normal sex and must pull out and finish "by hand." That is very demoralizing for both partners. Cut men tend to have to thrust so hard it's almost painful in order to get enough sensation. Yuck! Even men who were mutilated as babies say they get irritation from the glans rubbing against their clothing, and, guess what, an irritated glans is not a good thing to have when you're sexually active. The foreskin is very rich in nerve endings, and its loss is a major one in terms of pleasure.

Cons: if you live in an area of a Third World country where almost everyone has been exposed to HIV and you can't afford a condom, being cut will decrease the chance of getting HIV from terrible to very bad!

No pros. Many cons: needs washing 2 or 3 times a day; if tight foreskin, difficulty peeing and having intercourse. More irritation, and infection possible. According to recent lengthly scientific studies circumcision is a first line of defense against AIDS from an infected woman to uninfected man. Male to male anal intercourse has no protection from circumcision. In the US circumcision of the male infant is done in 85%+ of all Caucasians and Afro-American males. It is both a cultural and often religious procedure to have in infancy and also later.

A clean and loose foreskin in the uncircumcised male compared with a clean circumcised male have sexual intercourse that is favorable to both. The circumcised male has greater staying power--an advantage to the female partner.

Pro: more sensitivity.
Con: hard to clean, susceptible to odors.
Just make sure you shower every day and use a penis health creme containing Vitamin A as well. This creme will kill any odor-causing bacteria down there. Easy to use and effective. Hope this helps.

Actually, the uncircumcised penis has a little less sensation, due to the added foreskin, the nerves are closer to the surface in the circumcised and heightens the feelings of pleasure. Health wise, the uncircumcised penis, is more difficult keep clean and causes a greater risk to a woman, namely increases her risk of cervical cancer and yeast infections and a multitude of other problems.
