Yes. I believe breaking the pimple improperly will spread germs from your fingers into the blemish and the blemish across your skin. You are supposed to wash your hands, prick the pimple with a clean needle carefully, then squeeze ever so gently with tissue paper covering both fingers. Any other way can cause scarring.

Yes it will make them worse (contrary to popular belief). Not only does it cause scarring and an ugly blemish afterwards...but by breaking them (ie: squeezing/stretching/pushing) promotes movement and spread of the bacteria that causes acne.
Your pimples are small infections that happen in your skin so roughing them up by picking at them or by using a rough facial scrub on them is just as bad for proper healing as it is if you did that to an infection elsewhere in your body, like your ear or something.

I think you are asking, whether or not popping a pimple will cause you to get more?????
I say no, but some say yes and the reason for that, would be the puss coming out, could spread and infect another area of your face.
With that being said.........pop it and squeeze until it bleeds and/or the seed comes out. Then wash your hands and dab the area with astringent.

Yes, you can spread the bacteria from the pimple "pus" to more places around the skin.
