I have a bad sciatic pain that has been hard to live with the last few days, I have Lortab that I can take but I am avoiding because I am studing for two securities exams and my test window is in less than a month , I can't be doped up ,I don't have time. How can I deal with this pain?

I go to a new Dr in a couple weeks to have my thyroid checked. - Again. I have many of the classic symptoms: Extremly cold, Extremly tired all the time, significant hair loss, low body temperature, dizziness, loss of concentraion, etc. My mom and aunt are both on daily thyroid meds. I had it tested not too long ago and the Dr said I was in the normal range - but my family and friends who are on thyroid treatment say I am in need of meds for my symptoms. I'm afraid these test results will come back "normal". I need to convience the Dr that I'm in the low-normal and need to be raised to the high-normal range. Has anyone experienced this - and tried to get your Dr to treat your symptoms by what you say - not a piece of paper?

I am careful with food intake. No alchohol, coffee, tea or other acidic food. All classic symptoms of gastrities present but scope show no ulcer. Anyone with similar symptoms please advise.

I have had discomfort in the genital region for two weeks now.
My penis(on the bottom of the head) is scaly and sore, and burns when I urinate.
And my anal region burns for no reason.

I have had on and off problems for the last month, and just seek advice from anyone who might have had similar problems.

I have no lesions or blisters, no heavy discharge. Just a burning feeling in both regions.

I have heard that jock itch CAN cause these symptoms, but I also worry myself into thinking its something more serious.

I plan on going to the doctor next week when I get time off work, but in the meantime does anyone have advice?

PS I'm in a long term relationship, so I'm not what you call a high risk individual.

HIV AIDS question! Please answer! Im cryin over here?
About 2 years ago, some kids were messing around outside (sophomore year)
You know the plastic thing that stays on the gatorade bottle after opened? These kids were flipping them inside out so the spiky things were showing. They swung it at 2 people, making them bleed. They turned around and got me and started bleeding a minute later. is there a chance i might have caught something? Like Aids or HIV? I am asking this now because i am getting a little concerned

Also please answer this question. Would students be notified at a high school if someone at the school had HIV?

Seems to be in both knees at same time, and same intensity of pain or pressure...Sometimes I might stand for hours (as a DJ) and no pain at all; other times I will feel it just walking a short distance...I use a treadmill for 30 minutes most days of the week, and the times I've noticed pain it is in the beginning, and seems to improve as I walk...are my knees on the way out?

I have been throwing up for the last three weeks and the doctor is not quite sure why. It is not intentional, I am not pregnant, and I have had an endoscopy done and a full abdomin ultrasound. It showed I have some damage to my duodendum but thats it. Right now I am being tested for a wheat allergy but if not we are at a dead end. I throw up immediately almost everytime I eat. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

I'm only 13 and i'm a contortionist my lower back hurts really bad and I've ice it and heated it. Is there anything else I can do to help it get better? tomorrow I have to perform so its not an option to stop doing contortion

*p.s. contortion is when you have extereme flexiblity in your back, legs arms whatever.
