Yes - it does tone muscle and make you very flexible.
I used to run and do step aerobics, bike, roller blade, etc. and was really well toned. As you get older, you do loose flexibility, and I am getting more flexible the more I do yoga. I love it!
I still get my heart rate up with walking, but , but yoga is a much more peaceful and relaxing way to exercise. Enjoy~

Yoga doesn't 'make' you flexible. However if practiced regularly, over time, yoga will increase your flexibility, as will other activities such as stretching, and many kinds of dance.
Yoga has a large number of benefits, aside from increased flexibility, including stress reduction, improvement in mood, and in some cases physical health.

YES, BUT WHEN THEY WANT YOU TO ERASE ALL THOUGHTS AND LET YOUR MIND GO BLANK , ALWAYS PRAY TO GOD AND HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON THAT THEY ASSIGN HOLY ANGELS TO KEEP EVIL FROM ENTERING.
GOD BLESS
