I have been throwing up for the last three weeks and the doctor is not quite sure why. It is not intentional, I am not pregnant, and I have had an endoscopy done and a full abdomin ultrasound. It showed I have some damage to my duodendum but thats it. Right now I am being tested for a wheat allergy but if not we are at a dead end. I throw up immediately almost everytime I eat. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

I usually get nauseous than vomit but quickly. I had pain when they pressed in my gall bladder area but the test was negative. Anyone know anything about wheat allergies and if it makes you throw up. Also, not a bacteria or anything- already had a biopsy. Know anything about damage to the duodendum?

I used to throw up when I was having a gall bladder attack, the test they did for that was an upper g.i. I know that an endoscopy is done for ulcers but I don't know what else it shows so maybe that was already ruled out. Good luck to you, I hope they find the reason that your vomiting quickly.

R/O: pancreatitis, cholecystiasis, Helicobacter, eosinophilic infiltration, mural leiomyoma/leiomyosarcoma, dystrophic calcification, etc. etc.

If your Dr. can't figure it out, especially after an endoscopy, it's unlikely anyone else can figure this out over the Net. Much as I hate to suggest it, the next logical step is probably a biopsy or even exploratory laparotomy. Hope you find the answer before then and find a solution.

Do you get nausous, then vomit or just vomit automatically? This might make a difference.
Are you uncomfortable around food?

I hope you're ok; but we need more information.

I went through this when I was 17. I think you should consider: nerves, dehydration, a simple virus or bacteria.

Sound like you have a severe csae of nervous indigestion. You're stressing hard and your body reacts to it by making you toss your cookies.
