First Q...in my left hand (palm) by my ring finger (by my knuckle, but on my palm)...well underneath the skin there is a hard bump and I can move it. Does anyone have any clue to what it is?

2nd Q...lately I've been getting sharp pains by my left shoulder blade. I get a constant, steady dull flow of pain that I can barely feel and every once in awhile I'll get a stabbing pain by my shoulder blade that spread down my back, towards the middle of my back, up into my shoulder and neck and head, underneath my arm...it's only on my left side and doesn't cross over to the right. When I get it, it also goes down my arm and into my pinky and I get a tingly feeling.

Like I said, I KNOW I should go see a doctor and I plan on it...I'm just curious to see what it could be. Sorry if that all sounds confusing...

I was bullied for a few years a while back, and I changed alot because I was so desparate to fit in. Now it seems like everything I do is lame, and acted out in a way because I feel stupid being myself, nothing seems to come naturally anymore. Its like I don't even have an identity anymore, I'm just some screwed up teenage girl. Is it normal to feel lame and ashamed about your behaviour, identity and life?What should I do to feel natural again being myself, and reforming my good self-image?

(I don't do shrinks, they scare me!)

I am married, but not to my daughters father. And no my new husband has not yet adopted my daughter. My daughters biological father is in and out of her life. right now he is not around. I am ill. I am sevearly bi-polar and have been on a down ward slope for some time. Its now in my best interest to seek help from a psychiatric facility. I am worried about what will happen to my daughter. I am worried that her biological father would be able to take her away from us. I do not want that to happen. So i am unsure what to do until i know what can happen. I dont want to seek help if i will lose my daughter. does anyone know how to shed a little light on this for me.

My 16 year old son has been having leg cramps off & on, which I thought was probably growing pains. Now he is starting to have his right hand go cold, which I thought was weird. It is only his right hand, never his left. I saw where some people have this happen if they are on the computer for long periods of time, but he really doesn't do that. He does play a lot of pool. I'm not sure if I should be worried or make a doctor appt. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I typed in poor hand circulation to the hand, and LOTS of scarey things came up, I read some horror stories on here about bad doctor input tho...anyone with same age, or symptoms, please help out with some info...son't want to make the wrong decision.

im 19 year old girl. height 5 feet 7 inches. xray, ultrasound and blood test was taken in max hospital. they said there is no prob. doc said to reduce weight to 54 from 64kgs. i havent exersised before.so started walking (its been a year) but even today it pains. not regularly but all of a sudden it pains and i cant move and i get scared whats happening and suddenly everything gets fine. its scary coz dont know when will it pain again. if it pains when im outside then dont know wat will i do?

There was once a college that offered a class on probability applied to the real world.

The class was relatively easy, but there was a catch. There were no homework assignments or tests, but there was a final exam that would have only one question on it.

When everyone received the test it was a blank sheet of paper with a solitary question on it: "What is risk?"

I'm not pregnant, but this may give me a clue for what may have happened to me one day my ex-boyfriend did some things to me. OK. My goal is to constantly lose fat for a period of time. The rate of fat loss should be fairly fast. Now my question is, can i do this by having a 1500 calorie diet (with almost everything in it (carbs, proteins, etc.) and jog at least a mile a day?

I need to gett a workout schedule that tells me what muscles to work out on what days to maximum improvement. I know muscles need their rest to heal and regenerate and thats how they get bigger, But when I try to work out, i end up doing an exercise that I cant do because im too sore from the workout i did the day before or the day before that. I want to work out every other day, 3 times a day. I dont have equipment, all i have are dumbells and my room because i am studying and working. Please help.

last night suddenly my throat started to itch. i stay in delhi and winters have started. Has anyone ever used light therapy for depression? Some say it won't work unless it is seasonal depression, but it looks like the same factors in your brain would be involved either way. I know that there's specific (expensive) light boxes I can buy, but I'm wondering if going to a tanning bed every 2-3 days might help. I've read that tanning beds are not recommended for this, but the medical field would never promote tanning beds anyway because it isn't good for your skin.
I was just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with either a light box or using a tanning bed for therapy?
