My girlfriend and I had sex for the first time last week. It was her first time having sex. She says that she is still sore and it is painful for her when we had sex this week. Is this normal? Will this go away or is it something that is different about her. She can't enjoy it yet and I don't feel as good because of it.

My husband has to take a urine test for a job on Monday, he has been smoking marijuana 2 - 4 times weekly, and wants to clean his system. He plans to abstain from now on, and has not smoked in a week, but is afraid there is still stuff in his system. Is there something to cleanse, not mask his system in time for the tese? What is it, and where can it be found?

My friend's mother is schizophrenic and she has stopped taking her medicine, paying the electric bill, and does various extreme things that go with her illness (picking fights with neighbors, making up stories, etc.). Though she has not become physically harmful (yet), they are afraid that she will put herself in a situation where she can be. She has not been to the doctor in a year and refuses. Can they check her into a hospital?

My father , Now 91 years of age, has the following probems :

1. does all sorts of wrong things (even immoral like lying) to attract attention of other family members.

2. Has become very irritable even though he is dependent on others for his day to day activities like bathing, hyegine etc.
3. Has become one track mind regarding his eating habits - e.g. if he starts eating chinese , he will want it daily... gets addicted to soft driks etc etc

IS someone having such prblems. are these problems age related . AND we have to live with them?

i have a great partner and a beautiful 2 year old daughter but sometimes i feel so frustrated with everything, the smallest thing will really cause me to lose my temper,i have thought about asking my gp for anger management as i feel i hold a lot of anger about a lot of things.
it's got worse since i had my baby as it was a very traumatic birth.
i feel my gp will just think i'm over reacting about nothing.

and think about OTHERS for a change?

While some loser is WHINING about his or her insignificant problems, children in third-world countries are starving. Do these WHINERS realize how stupid they look when others have it much worse than them? Jesus Christ, some people have a lot of growing up to do. The world isn't fair, losers, so put an end to your pity party already because nobody cares. We have our own "problems" to attend to, but you don't hear US whining about them, do you?

I'm not diabetic but my husband and mother-in-law both are (Type II). Both will routinely go all day without eating anything. This doesn't seem healthy to me, but my MIL (who is a nurse) insists that it's perfectly fine because fasting keeps the blood sugar levels low.

It would seem to me that the sudden fluctuation you're going to get when you finally eat, late in the day, would be more detrimental than just eating moderate amounts throughout the day. Am I way off base?
