I have had two babes. My son is now 8 and my daughter will soon be 4, and I am expecting my new son in just a couple weeks.

After I had my son I got post pardom depression. I did not realize any thing was wrong with me.. I was young and had never been told this might happen or that some people didnt want to do any thing but cry. well I got it and had it for at least 6 months until I realized something was wrong with me and I had to talk to my doc.. I was put on prozac.. this helped for about a month then I broke out in hives.. I had an allergic reation but since I knew what was wrong with me that helped me pull myself out.

Four years later I had my daughter and the same thing happened, I felt the depression kickin in but it did not get so bad I did not wait so long for medication this time..This time I was put one zoloft...same thing happened I broke out in hives allergic reation ... so I took my self off of the meds and just pulled my self thru again.....

HOPEFULLY THIS TIME SINCE I JUST ABOUT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT IT WONT HAPPEN HUH?LOL!!

The thing of it was that no one could understand y I could have a new baby both times and all I could do was cry
every one kept saying to me that they could not understand how I could be depressed, and that this was always the happiest times of their lives with a new babe..
obvoulsy they never had post pardom depression... so if you do good luck.. You may need meds, you may not, but just know that you are normal and hormones have a big play in this time every thing is trying to go back to normal now... so again good luck and remember you are not the first or only on that feels like this!!:)

It's called the baby blues. I had it too. I cried and cried whenever I had a shower because the water didn't feel right. Your body has just been through a lot physically and hormonally. Your hormones are all messed up. It may take a while for them to get back to some sort of normal state. Every woman is different. I didn't start feeling better until about a week after. However some women do experience post-partem depression, and if you are concerned that you are feeling worse or are not getting better then you MUST go see your doctor. My sister in-law had it and wouldn't go see her doctor. She ended up leaving it for too long and her husband had to admit her into the hospital. She was in there for 3 weeks. I am not saying that this will happen to you but if you notice that it's not getting better or if it is getting worse then please see your doctor.

All The Best To You :)

Hey. I'm mom to 7 children! And I want to share with you that your emotions go haywire after giving birth. Especially the first one! First, your hormones are going crazy. Add to that your joy and fierce sense to protect this new little one, and tears are acceptable! :)

You should be in your pj's still. For 10 days at LEAST you need to bond with your baby. Being in your pj's tells everyone you aren't 'your normal self'. So let the world go on as normal without you for a few more days and just enjoy your new gift! Sleep when s/he does. I hope you have someone there to help you!

If you can't stop crying and start to think life sucks, talk to your dr. I've been through it, but manage to work myself out of it by taking care of myself and my kids!

Hope this helped. You will find a balance soon! :)

i think of it relatively is thoroughly widespread to experience that way in spite of the undeniable fact that it does fade & without delay too! I incredibly much died (actually) having my son by using problems & became in the scientific institution a protracted time separated from my infant, it became this type of demanding journey. Afterwards, i became so terrified, i began having panic assaults each and every of the time & even nonetheless I desperately choose yet another infant i presumed i'd never have the potential to stand it back! My son is now incredibly much six months & i glance back & think of "nah it wasn't so undesirable, i will try this back!" & i'm bowled over at myself! I had to ask my husband the different day specific information approximately my son's beginning cos I had forgotten!!! So yep, the memory will fade & you will greater suitable than possibly be satisfied to have yet another in time to come again so do no longer subject x

Yes this is very common, I believe it is called post-natal-depression. Talk to your doctor about it, he/she may be able to recommend a support group or something else that will help. Please don't be afraid or worried about asking for help, as I said this is very common but it might get a whole lot worse if you don't get help! Do this for yourself & your family!! Wishing the very best for you & your's!!
