Depends on how bad of a stroke it was, some ppl loose the use of 1 side of the face, so chewing can be difficult and so have to eat soft foods, eg mash potatoes, soups etc., and some ppl don't, but a healthy diet is a must. Go see your GP who can put you in touch with a Nutritionist who will help with a good healthy diet.

Hi i am a staff nurse on a rehabilitation unit for strokes and head injuries, you can eat anything you want, but if you trouble swallowing it would be best to blend your food down with a electric blender, the consistency should be no lumps( only if you can't handle lumps at the moment) but not to running as with strokes this can hit the back of the throat causing coughing fits and choking, it should really be like custard,

you need to focus on your internal health and vitality. Try a whole body cleanse and detox, and give your body high quality super foods. If you want to know a proven system, i'll share with you what I've been using for over a year now. Good luck.
