Okay so Im in student council and in case I have to quit theres a backup,but then I told him that hes gonna replace me because I was gonna quit,but then I decided not to quit.And im worried that he might show up in student council and theres gonna be some probs,but it has been a couple of days and nothing has happened.

Always ask yourself this question, "Can I do anything about this?" If the answer is yes, then do it, if the answer is no, then don't bother stressing about it. In this case, I think the answer is yes, just talk to your replacement and tell him you've decided not to quit after all, end of problem.

I have been in student council before also. This isnt something that you should stress about. However, dealt the problem with your instructor. Good luck :)

Make a commitment not to quit. It's unfair to your replacement. Tell him you can fulfill ypur duties after all, and thank him for being supportive. Maybe you can give him some type of job to do.
