My mother has been smoking since I can't remember. My sister, father, and I have tried to persuade her to quit thousands of times, but she just can't stop. A few times she promised us she would quit, but none succeeded and she continues to smoke to this day. She used to smoke just about a pack a day; but thankfully, she has decreased the amount to 4-5 a day, as I am aware. We have tried so hard to show her pictures of black lungs, to persuade her that smoking is horrible and that she may get lung cancer; heck, we have given it our best effort and still she is yet to quit. If you have a loved one that is smoking, you know how hard it is for me, knowing that she is killing herself day-by-day and there is nothing you can do to stop her. I have tried many attempts to hide her cigarettes, or throw them away, but I end up feeling like a fool when she simply goes and buys some more. She doesn't seem to care how much we want her to quit, and I don't know what to do. Someone please help..?

now often..because of the gas it give the pain on my ribs, spine, stomach and keeps moving...here and there......sometime it try to move towards the heart side....it really pains a lot.... mostly on this i got headach... i feel like to vomite if i vomite out it seems little releaf but after it will be the same again...even more...i tried with so many doctors...indoscopy, vedio x-rey...if you have any solution for this pls let me know...i'd appreciate for your kindness..

-Is it good for you, because I feel like its fast weightlifting which i also do. Meaning I feel a huge burn while doing it and the same tiring feel afterwards. Does hard fast drumming involving a lot of armage help size or fit in any way? Pros/cons?

The liver size is relatively enlarged and shows solid highly echogenic mass measuring 12.6 cm X 11.6 cm in diameter in its right lobe posterior segment.

Rest live parenchyma shows bright exotexture; also spleen is of normal size, shape and echotexture.

My 5 year old son's doctor said his left side is completely blocked and the right side is half blocked. His only symptom is a cough. She prescribed him Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium (all one bottle). Past meds for the cough we have been trying to treat for 4 months now are Zyrtec, Qvar, Singulair, some kind of liquid steroid he took for 3 days, Allbuterol and the last time was a pink antiobiotic he took for 3 days but I can't remember the name. NOTHING has helped the cough which is why she did the cat scan. I just can't see him having this bad of a sinus infection with absolutely no pain. His cough is dry and non productive...sounds deep. Excuse the mis-spelled words please, I'm tired and don't feel like checking them.

I am a 19 year old female and i am dying to lose weight. I am engaged and my fiance tells me that i dont need to lose weight bc he loves me no matter what but i dont like the way i look. I weigh more then i should for my height which is around 5'8. I dont want to mention my weight really bc i know how rude people are.I am no where near 210 its less then that. I went to a clinic and was told that i need to lose weight. I would just like for some people to please advise some diet tips for me that will help. i'm asking this for my husband, he's 28 years old, seems to be in fairly ok health, but at a routine physical he was told that his BP is 150 over 100, the doctor then did an EKG which came back abnormal, they plan to do another next week, in the mean time is there anything that we can do to try and naturally lower his BP??? he does have a family history of heart disease and high BP, we just thought that he was to young to have to worry about it yet

ive never had itchy nipples before...but this year when summer was ending my nipples [usually my right nipple] would itch SO BAD! its gotten better now but once in awhile it still gets itchy...i dont think its because my skins dry since every since my nipples got itchy ive been applying lotion...any way to make it go completly away???

I am 13 years old and my definition of claustrophobia would be when you are in tight, small places and have trouble breathing. Am I right? If so, lately when I go to the movie theaters or am stuck in a packed-up area I have trouble breathing. I have never been this way before. I try to inhale and exhale deeply, to relax, but that just seems to make it worse.

I think you all have the best answer.I wish I could give all of you 10 points.Now I posted that question to advise against smoking more than anything.As I stated I'am a heavy smoker.I'm very sick from smoking.Now friends I would never do anything to hurt anyone.I know the dangers of second hand smoke.My whole point is,if I'am at a park in the wide open spaces if I'am not blowing smoke in your or your loved ones face why can't I enjoy what my tax dollars helped pay for.I'am not asking for the run of the place just a little of the freedom that I searved in the armed service and payed my dews for.I respect your wishes can't I have just a little.I have 9 grand children &3 greatgrand kids.I don't want you to hurt them and I don't want to hurt yours,and I wouldn't.Hell I'm dieing so I'll just go away and live my life in bed and smoke all I want.Will I have to sneek off to the bathroom?

my breasts have been sore and tender for nearly 3 weeks now and my period is due in about 4 days .the sorness is more noticable when i wake up and more tender on the side that i have been sleeping on,is this just pmt or something else? i don't normally get sore breasts with period.
