Registered Nurse here; The answer is a Yes to all the above. Reason being, the ovaries, is main player in hormonal balance in the female during reproductive years. A cyst can interfere with the ovulation process, therefore interfering with the hormonal balance. Probably be a wise choice to go in and see your doctor, for its best to get your cycles regulated, to avoid, ups and downs in moods, also to avoid worry for not knowing if your pregnant or not. Just a sound health decision, when having medical problems to go in and be evaluated by your physician. Make a list, so you don't forget anything you have a question about.
Thank You for the opportunity to address your question.

My ex wife had ovarian cysts and her periods were extremely irregular until she got on the pill. The hormones in the pill helped stabilize her metabolism and make her periods regular. Not clear on false/positive thing. False positive what?

You would possibly not get your interval that month.. At least I have not I do not know approximately scan outcome regardless that. it sounds viable handiest since the exams are not one hundred% correct and plenty of variables rely at the accuracy. wait a couple of days and once more
