you can tone your body, but over all to lose weight you will have to lose weight as a whole . Not just in one area. As for being lazy that is the choice you make. If you can't motivate yourself to get something done, then that is how you will be in most area's of your life. IF you really want something bad enough you will move mountains to get it. So how bad do you want to lose weight, how bad do you want to finish your projects. What is it going to cost you if you don't finish them or lose weight. Look at the whole picture and you will see what you really want. If you just sit there and look at the glass of water but won't get up to drink from it, you'll die from thirst. I think you know what I am saying here. Make up your mind and then do something .

Reward yourself for completing tasks, like completing a trip to the gym, or getting homework knocked out. For starters, just schedule a couple of things and stick to 'em ... much easier than trying to make wholesale changes to your daily routine.

start with small changes, like, no sugar or less sugar in your coffee, switch from 2% milk to 1%, no evening snacking, drink more water, it is hard for us procrastinators, but if you do little steps, it is easier. Good luck!!

set up smaller goals each day..plan you projects and homework out..like how much time you'll spend on one thing..then go on to the next. same for diet and exercise.
e.g. start by walking or jogging about an hour everyday..then move your way up.
