my left ovary kills me and my lower abdomen and my lower back ache tylenol isn't working, should I take one of my husband's muscle relaxer would that help?

I have recently been on a lot of meds for a bladder infection, strep infection and a yeast infection. my period was 2 days late and it was only 2 days of spotting (very light to the point i didn't know it was there unless i wiped) and it stopped. could this be caused by the meds or could i be... gulp... pregnant?

And what are the side effects of using oxycontin.? And i heard it is synthetic heroin. Is that true?

crying yourself to sleep = puffy eyes............... why???

Hmmm. I've always wondered this.

How come when you cry a lot and then go to sleep right afterwards, the next morning your eyes are really puffy? And why do you get such a big headache?

You can cry a lot.... wait a while..... and THEN go to sleep. And somehow that reduces the amount of puffiness you get the next morning. Why IS that??

I just never understood it. Thanks for your responses.

omg a branch just it hit my eye!?

My Father-in-Law had a stranger die in his arms in a motorcycle accident... and he won't talk about it.?

How can we help him deal with his emotions? The poor guy was only 39 & had his whole life in front of him. His motorcycle hit a truck in front of a halloween party they were having and my FIL kept his pulse for a full 3 minutes before the man passed. Now he won't talk to anybody, sleep, and he just kind of draws a blank at work. Should we just leave him alone.. counceling isn't really an option

is this normal? it wasn't mentioned as one of the side effects.?

i recently started taking birth control pills [i started taking them on the 8th of october] my period had been here for 12 days now [the last time i had sex was the 14th: 2 days after my period came which was the 12 of october ] and it's still pretty heavy flows [it started off little on the 1st week then it started to get heavy]. I also stopped eating most of the food that i use to love eating,i've been losing my appetite[completely], and losing weight..... now this is completely the opposite of the birth control side effects. Is this suppose to be normal in any way possible while im on these pills. oh yeah! and after i pop the pill into my mouth i feel like it's screwing up my insides and then i feel like $H*T.

I need to lose 30 pounds before winter vacation ends!?

Hi!
hm.. well i'm 13 (i'm turning 14 in december) and I was wondering if i could lose 30 pounds when my winter vacation ends so by Jan. I guess. I'm 5'6 and I weigh 140 pounds and i have a TINY FRAME
and lots of the girls in my school are skinny and super pretty, its hard to keep up, you know?
and if you aren't skinny nobody really pays attention to you
their SUPER shallow. :/
and i have VERY LOW self-esteem
i'm totally willing to do this i'm gonna count down on my calender and keep track of how much i loose
I seriously can't loose a pound without help ):
and also even though i need to loose weight EVERYWHERE i'll name my really chubby parts;

-butt (hehe i want it to be flat)
-thighs (oh jesus i wear size 9 jeans because of this.)
-stomach (its jiggy i want my rolls gone D:<)
-HIPS HIPS HIPS HIPS HIPS HIPS HIPS HIPS HIPS HIPS
hips are my totally worst problem
i need to slim down my waist big time can you give me tips on that

If a person tries to commit suicide and fails..It waives their right to refuse treatment??

If a person trys to commit suicide and and fails.. and the person trys to refuse treatment...but the right was waived when they decided to take their life...so the mecial team can do what ever means neccessary to make sure the person lives...even if the person is alert and trys to refuse treatment they no longer have that right....

My 57 yr old sister is showing symptoms of Alzhiemers disease. How to cope?

She is starting to have problems finding words or she just simply gets stuck on 1 word. On the positive, she is much happier than usual. I keep filling in the missing words and try to make it easier to have conversations with her, but I really have to be honest, I am so sad inside. What to do to cope easier. Mom died at 66 with the same thing. God, if I end up with this, I will kill myself first.
