Ask yourself.

if you can think logically, type and ask the question, and think about going to bed, you aren't. Schizophrenics have lost touch with reality, going from one extreme mania mood (can't stop talking, thinking they are Jesus or an angel, have voices talking to them) to an extreme depressed state (catatonic, smoking cigarettes nonstop without moving a muscle).

A schizophrenic wouldn't know that they were not in touch with reality, because their state of mind is their reality.

If you have concerns about your mental health, call your local mental health association or go to a general md for the initial assessment.

I am by know means an expert, however I do think that scizophrenia is one of the few mental illness's when you don't actually know you have a mental illness, Do you know what
I mean? Like bipolar, depression, anxiety, you know you are having problems, but with schizophrenia, you are dillusional, see things, are very paranoid, and don't think rationally. They tend to not take their medication because they don't think anything is wrong. If you don't feel yourself, definiatly talk to your Dr., but you probably aren't schizophrenic.

If you are worried about your mental health, get checked by a mental health professional. If you find out that you don't have serious problems, wouldn't that be a relief?
