NO, NO, NO the doctor and no one else can tell by looking at your body whether or not you've ever had sex or not!!! Yes, women have hymens, which is a thin membrane that covers the vaginal opening. But, most women's hymen's are"broke" from non-sexual activity, so when women begin sexual activity they usually no longer have their hymen. And, some women that are sexually active can still have an intact or partially intact hymen. So, the presence or lack of a hymen does nothing at all to indicate whether or not a women has ever had sex.
You do have complete confidentiality between you and the doctor, your doctor can not share anything with your parent. I would ask this specifically if you want to be sure.
Lastly, I would really encourage you to be open with your doctor about your health history including your sexual history so that you and your doctor can speak freely about your health care needs, what tests you should or should not have and also to allow you to ask any pertinent questions during your visit.

If your hymen is torn, which it is usually during the first time you have sex, the doctor will know (assuming he is allowed to check there). However the hymen can sometimes be torn other ways, so the doctor can only infer that it is likely or not, but no definite answer. Also, depending on where you live, there's a confidentiality law and you can probably tell your doctor not to release that information to your parents.

No matter how many people tell that doctors can tell if you've had sex they can't. Plus, even if you told the doctor that you've had sex he/she can't tell your parents, its called doctor patient confidentiality. The doctor will probably recomend that you go on birth control and you can just tell your parents that the pills will help regulate your period and calm your cramps, plus a couple of them can now clear up your skin. There are a lot of things you should talk about when you see the doctor and its not like your mom is going to be in the room with you, how akward would that be?

you may continually be honest with your physician, quite approximately drugs/drugs you're taking so he won't prescribe some thing that conflicts. i can not have self belief he might throw you out - docs see lots worse than that from their sufferers. He could enable you comprehend off, nevertheless. Did he enable you comprehend why he did no longer want you to take this medicine? perchance you may do slightly study approximately it and see - it may desire to be that new data has come to easy approximately it quite is effectiveness or risk-free practices for pregnant women. your loved ones checklist won't be conscious. Google "Protonix and pregnant women." Ask your pharmacist. perchance your professional is in simple terms an conceited jerk - he does no longer be the 1st - yet he could comprehend what he's talking approximately, so ask greater questions. If he won't answer your questions, you may hit upon a doctor that cares adequate to describe issues to you. sturdy good fortune!

If the membrane on the inside of your vagina (called the hymen) is still intact, that's an indication to the doctor that you have not had sex yet. However girls who are active in sports like horseback riding and such, or who use tampons, often have their hymens already broken. In that case the doctor can't tell whether you've had sex or not unless you tell him.

The doctor will ask you. Doctors can kind of tell, because the hymen (membrane that partially covers a girl's vagina) breaks during sex. However, a doctor cannot tell absolutely because the hymen can also break when you play sports or insert a tampon.
The good news is that your doctor will not tell your parents that you have had sex unless it is a life or death situation.
I hope I helped!

The doctor will probably know, but really won't care, since nearly all women who see gynecologists have been sexually active. Also, the doctor won't tell your mom without your permission. So if you want your doctor to tell your mom, you'd have to ask the doctor to do so.

pretty much.. they can see whether or not your hymen (aka 'cherry') is intact.. but then, that doesn't necessarily mean that you've had sex.. sometimes that can be broken other ways. See the doctor alone and ask for confidentiality... or is your mom taking you specifically for this purpose? Maybe you guys need to talk!

yes they can tell you need to be honest about this because at the gyno they do a pap smear and other tests to make sure you are ok.if there is something up they are going to know.and if you are under age they can tell your mom not unless if you go to a confidential clinic like the planned parent hood or health department.so its best to be honest

yes but there is such a thing as doctor-patient confidentiality agreement. your obgyn will not tell your mom about your sexual activities if you don't want him/her to so you can keep your sex life private. in any case, how active are you? cheers!
