Drinking water or tea and eating fresh fruit is better -- then you are getting the roughage and all the vitamins without all that sugar.

Fats: We've experienced that the most effective way to lose weight is to eliminate fats and oils from the diet. Keep your total intake of fat down to about 30 g. Your body needs some fat to dissolve the vitamins but fat will come in the food anyway - hard to avoid even if you wanted to. We seldom eat red meat anymore and chicken once in awhile. Never eat pastries -- a plain bagel instead (much less fat).

I would drink water. I'm not a big water fan so it's hard, but that's the best thing if you're dieting. Even flavored water is good. Sometimes I sneak diet sodas hehe. I'm not sure about grape juice. It has suger in it.

Cranberry juice is awesome but very high in Carbs - lots of sugar so WILL put weight on... I suggest buying pure cranberry capsules - no sugar - same benefits. By the way - they have capsules that are made for urinary tract with lots of cranberry and other things....

As far as antioxidants, try pomagranate juice/capsules or mangosteen capsules..... both awesome.....

all fruit juices have a lot of natural sugars in them. Stick to water it's the healtiest. But make sure you have the recomended amount of fruits though. But there's no fat in it.
talk to your doctor before starting a diet.

Cranberry Juice contains lots of natural sugar. I guess you could add a few ounces of water to make it less sugary. My mom used to do that with sugary drinks. (Plus, it doesn't taste too bad as long as you don't add too much water!)

it has sugar, and diets are based on calories consumed verses calories burned.
