I just has total abdominal hysterectomy. I went to have staples removed from my abdomen today. The dr. told me that there is possibly a blood clot under the incision. I have heard about blood clots in the legs after these things but not under the incision. Should I be concerned? Dr. didn't seem concerned. He says the body will break it up on it's own, but hearing things about clots breaking off little bits and going to lungs, heart or brain scares the heck out of me.

Does anyone know why you're not supposed to give honey to babies under 1 year? My husband admitted to feeding just a little bit of honey on a piece of bread to our 10 month old, this was several days ago and the baby seems fine... but it says right on the bottle of honey not to feed it to infants... does anyone know why not or what could happen?

if he pushes his penis in to far/hard or we are in a certain possition, i get a horrible pain in my lower stomache and a lot of the time i have to stop having sex cause it hurts so bad. it last 5-10 min and sometimes it last for weeks. and it isnt a little pain either, it hurst like hell!! i want to have sex hard and in certain possitions, but i cant do it if it hurts me!! what is my problem?!

For the last 2 weeks the joints in my hands have felt inflamed, this achy feeling runs up all the way to my elbow and the joint there feels achy too. My knees and feet feel sort of achy too. It is the sort of achy feeling like when you have the flu. I am only 30 years old, what could be causing this?

I know it's a staph infection like virus & that it's very contagious. I know of someone that has this virus & she came into the nail salon while I was there & she was getting a pedicure. I know nail salons are not always the most hygenic & tools may not get completely sterilized inbetween customers. Should she be going to public places like this? Should I notify the salon? The health dept.?? I was really liking this salon until this & I don't think I'll be going back ::o(

Teens don't like parents who 'nag'- they want to be independent. Fine, but when your 16 yr old still NEEDS help with remembering basic stuff (hygine, school work, getting ready for a trip, getting organized ect), what do you do ?!?

I dont want to be co-dependent, with another person's problems, and when he turns 18 , fine I will back off. But my kid is NOT on meds -I have only used behaviour management all theses years. Now he has reached a new milestone, now has a girlfriend, and thinks hes an adult.

He's really starting to 'power struggle' with me and resist more than ever. NO matter how 'nice' or 'neutral' or 'authoritative' or 'diplomatic' or 'agressive' or 'indirectly' or 'helpfully' or 'casualy' or, I approach it, he snaps at me.

I am simply, calmly (most of the time) trying apply the 'extra-hard-work' parenting I have been doing all these years...and he resists.

Until hes 18 I am responsible to see he baths, goes to school, has clothing, a coat, ect

I want to know how someone other than the statements on the website feel about the product. I just ordered it because I have been very bloated lately and just all around not so great.I keep getting this weird kind of chest and stomach flutters they take my breath away a little and it's starting to kinda freak me out..so I thought I would give this colonix product a try and see if it helps.Anyone out there with similar problems tried this? Any wild women actually been fisted where he gets his whole hand/wrist in your vagina? I heard it can get stuck? Would there be any risk to tearing? i broke my scaphoid last spring and have had my cast off since July..when i bend it or lift heavy weights my scaphoid (of the tissue around it) still hurt...i'm at school so i can't really go to physical therapy...are there any excersizes/stretches i can do on my own that will strengthen it?

I've never felt this kind of pain ever. It started about two hours ago. I'm at work so i refrained from going to the restroom and when i couldn't take it anymore i went but i experienced a sharp shooting pain in my lower abdomen and vagina wall and on top of that i'm bleeding. I figured that it was that time of the month but then as soon as the pain would stop the bleeding stopped as well. Can someone please tell me what this is?

I am 21 years old and for about a year now my breast have been getting really sore, actually its my nipples they are really sensative and hurt, even when they rub against my bra or anything, I cant even touch them, this happens for about one week out of the month, sometimes right before my period, but sometimes weeks before. I have had problems with not having my period, but they have finally become more normal, I dont know whats going on, I'm absolutley sure Im not pregnant, Is it serious, Does this happen to anybody else?

About 6 weeks ago I dislocated my ankle, breaking my fibula and other ankle bones in the process. I had surgery 4 weeks ago and four screws were put in my ankle, 2 on each side. 2 weeks ago the splint was taken off and I now have a boot, but the Dr. said not to put any weight on it for 4 weeks. So, I'm a bad girl and I tried to walk today, and it doesn't hurt at all. Do you think that this means I can walk on it? Or am I going to mess up the healing if I do? Thanks!
