Sometimes periods are just late, it happens. If you're stressed about something, or have a big change in routine.. you'll be late and you might even just miss it.
If you're pretty sure that you could be pregnant, go to the hospital or your doctor's office and ask for a blood test. HCG levels (the pregnancy hormone) are the weakest in urine and the strongest in blood.. so if you think you're pregnant, have a blood test.
At home pee tests have a false negative record, so you very well might be. If you don't want to go to the doctor, wait a few days and take another pee test, every day that goes by when you're pregnant raises your HCG level, and if you wait a few days before you take another at home test, you might get a positive if you are pregnant,

You won't know. You'll have to wait and take another test. That's why some docs will make you wait until you've missed two periods. Did you take the test first thing in the morning? Home pregnancy tests are most accurate when taken with your first urine stream in the morning. Wait a week and try again. However, just because you missed a period doesn't mean your pregnant. Women miss periods all the time. It's normal.

The test might say no because pregnancy hormones are yet to be developed. Or may your periods are just getting delayed and you are not pregnant. Anyway, don't lose heart. Wait for couple days and try the test again. If stll the same thing go to your doc and have a blood test. Good luck!

If your period is late and you think you're pregnant, but you're testing negative with a urine test you have a couple of choices. You can either wait a few more days and test again (use your first urine in the morning because it's more concentrated) or you can go to the doctor and ask for a blood test.

First off, take another pregnancy test but pee in a cup and insert the test strip into it. That is what I did when I though I was. Have you missed a whole month? It could be a hormonal imbalance. I would also recommend that you see a gynecologist and talk to him/her about it.
