i really like to have a good Fart, disgusted you might be.....

But my husband thinks it very unlady like its really off putting for him....not that i ever do it in public or around other people, yet it is ok for him to fart like a trooper and laugh about it...

Why is it so ok for men but not for women, yet it is a perfectly noraml bodily function

We are expected to be the most uncomfortable about our body and how it works. In order to remain as "lady like" as most women back in the day were. It's not an easy thing to change. My BF is fine with it but I think in the 6 yrs we have been together I have been uneasy about doing it. Dont ask me how I have done it living with him and all. Some guys I know they just want a girl to sew up her butt and her mouth and smell and look pretty constantly. I think that is a little too much to ask for since we are responsible for their existence and if we didnt perform these natural body functions it could be bad for our health. Try getting a man not to poop of fart around you EVER or you will never be attractive to him. Yeah right that deal would be off in the first 24 hours lol. Anyways I think it's ludicrous!

Obviously it's a bit grim in public or in private, even though it might seem blokeish behaviour other men in the same room/vicinity don't appreciate it from whoever. I think it is unlady like to be frank...I mean can you imagine the queen doing it and thinking it was funny? Having said that we all do it, and need to at some point so therefore enjoy the release but it's gross whoever does it....I can't believe I just wrote all that about farting....

Because with men we know which hole it is coming out of, since there is only one real possibility, and with women it's a different story.

You're mistaken if you think it's okay for men to fart and that people in general believe this as well. It is isn't okay for men, it's just considered less acceptable for women.

Pooping and urinating are normal body functions, too, but are you going to do those when you're sitting at a table in a restaurant also and consider it acceptable?

I fart all the time too, probably cause I eat a lot of onions and vegetables.
If you can't fart in your own home, it's a crying shame.
Tell him, if he stops - you will. That should shut him up.
I live alone, so I don't have your problem, thank goodness.
Fart away girl and to heck with every one else.

Most blokes including me feel the same as your hubby, i must admit i try my best not to fart in front of her as best i can! My mr's dilema is that she works in an office so has to do her damnedest to hold them in, she tells me she farts all the way home( 33 min journey, )but as soon as she gets in we're talkin a good hour's farting, i normally disappear at this stage.P.S iv'e just heard her drop one now!! and she's supposed to be asleep!!

in my opinion i don't think of there is something to pressure about right here. this is only a random be conscious. My boyfriend and that i have been mutually over a year and now and again we positioned something new in texts as our texting format turns right into a touch repetitive lol. this isn't any enormous deal, yet when you're that curious, in basic terms ask him in a jokey smiley way the position that hee hee got here from before.

In the surroundings I was brought up in, that was considered improper and unlady like. I personally don't have anything against it, but it's still somewhat repulsive to me at first--but I quickly get over that and laugh my head off. I think your husband just needs to get over that first initial repulsiveness.

Totally laughed out loud! Good for you. Tell him, you'll stop farting near him when he stops farting near you. And if he tries the 'it's so unlady-like' start flicking bogies at him and belching!
