went to the dentist because i chipped a piece of my tooth off......he filled the tooth the next day i was in so much pain......went back to the dentist and he said it must have been abcessed ......gave me antibiotics.......been on them 2 weeks now....still in so much pain it isnt funny......can he pull the tooth if it is abcessed? im ready to get it out of my mouth ......i cant afford a root canal.........HELP!!!

I'm going in for some cervical surgery and have the option to have an epidural. I think I'm going to take this over local shots in my cervix.

How bad is the pain when they put in the epidural?

Could there be a problem if your temperature is always below what it should be? I have a home thermometer and my temperature is always 97 or 96 when i take it. Should i see a doctor for this?

I am too lazy to do anything with my life. I feel unmotivated to study, read, or even do what i love to do which is right. I spend a majority of my day sleeping or wasting time doing nothing because my body feels so worn out even though I know it isn't. Is this normal, and so i just need to push myself to get things done or is something wrong with me?

Anyone else have TMJ out there? What are you going to do about it long-term.

I'm 22 and have been wearing this orthotic for 4 months. It's helped. I can actually open my mouth now, and my jaw quit clicking and locking. But I know I can't wear this thing for life. I'm already so sick of it. I have to wear it all the time (eating, sleeping, during the day), and it's starting to feel like a torture chamber!

my father is 60 and refuses to go to the dr's. he said he feels like his body gets real hot and has bad stomach pain, he also feels like he has to puke. he goes to sit on the toilet(hoping to take a dump and the pain go way) but nothing happens and he feels like he has to throw up @ the same time. Then he gets dizzy and really bad stomach pain . Does this sound like a gallbladder problem to you or something else? he is 60 and hates dr's but i have to scare him into going since this sounds real bad. So has anyone have an idea what this could be or has this happened to you? please tell me!

I'm only taking birth control to adjust my period, because it's scheduled to fall about the same time as my wedding. I started taking it at the beginning of October, and except for a few days, I've been bleeding pretty regularly since then. It's not painful, just annoying as hell! How long do I have to deal with it? Because I'm wondering if it's a) worth the cost (for bc and tampons) and b) worth the hassle....

My doctor told me my cholesterol is borderline, he told me I need to go on low fat, and low cholesterol diet. Any tips? Also, what is the max amount of cholesterol you should have in a day? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am on high blood pressure pill "Norvasc" but I also have to take a fluid pill and if I don't I feel like a toad, does this mean my heart is not working as well as it use to? If anyone can help with some experinces they have been through it would be appreciated. I hate going to the doctor......

I eat rasin bran,rasins,take fiber pills,have tried laxitives.docoter presscribed Mira lax...but that makes my stomach act funky so i have tried not taking it.Will i out grow this or its just life???? Any suggestions???????
