There are a lot of possibilities. Do you get enough sleep ? Just because you are in bed, doesn't mean that you are sleeping well. Caffeine is a killer. When you consume too much during the day or too close to bedtime, it messes with your sleep cycle. You might not be in the REM stage long enough.Vitamins are not the cure all. Eating properly is the answer. A vitamin might help with a few deficiencies, but don't rely on them to make you complete. The vitamins and minerals your body needs are not totally met when you rely on a pill. The natural vitamins in food etc, are used more efficiently than with a pill. To much Vitamin C in the pill form is bad. Excess in orange juice is o.k., even though your body won't benefit from the excess. An abundance of Vitamin D it can be very bad. An abundance of certain vitamins will affect the absorption of others. You could actually be doing more harm than good .I would recommend working on your diet, getting enough good sleep and starting an exercise program. If you don't see results, I would then see a Doc. You might have another problem.

It takes a whole lot more than vitamins to make you feel "rarin' and ready-to-go". Some of it has to do with your general health, some of it with whether you're experiencing depression, and I know, for me, it has a lot to do with whether I've gotten outside and done some exercise or been out in the woods working. Sometimes just getting outside and "in motion" to "stir-up-the-juices" so to speak, is what it takes to shake off the blahs. I've been a very active person for a good part of my life, in bicycle racing and running and swimming, and working for the railroads for a short while, and now retired and living in the woods and cutting up my own firewood and fencing the property, among other things. Even when I was in college decades ago, I found that once I got my mind going on a class assignment or project, however much I liked or dislike the project or assignment, I got to feeling more "alive" and alert and active. And sometimes I fell back on coffee and cokes. Also, your diet may have a lot to do with how "energized" you feel. People talk about "low carb diets", and once my ex-wife got me on a high protein, low carb diet, and I felt somebody put lead in my shoes and I couldn't go anywhere, so I went back to my high carb diet, and then could ride-the-wheels-off my world class bicycle. I can't specify which of these, if any, may be appropriate to you since I don't know you, but look through them and see if any of these fit you situation. God Bless you.
