Whitening is best done at your dental surgery. A lot of over the counter products are very abrasive and damage the enamel "thinner teeth". Zoom whitening done in a dental surgery is the best poduct I have used and the results are really good you can get anywhere from 6 to 12 shades lighter is is significant when you see the shade chart. Any whitening will cause sensitivity as it dehydrates your teeth for a while. Drink plenty of water and don't eat or drink anything that will stain your teeth for at least 2 days after bleaching. You can get a product called Tooth Mousse which hydrates your teeth and floods them with calcium and phosphates. Its like a facial for your teeth! Take home bleaching also from your dentist is good but you don't get the same results as Zoom. Hope this helps

Whitening products don't make your teeth thinner if they are true products. Just be careful if you have a cap or crown up front because it will not whitening. I use the brush on products that say as seen on tv. It seems to work. Do not use any lemon products they will eat the enamel. Avon even had a good brush on product for only 12.99. Good Luck.

On a comparative foundation, enamel whitening toothpastes mainly don't seem to be viewed to be essentially the most potent sort of enamel whitening merchandise to be had, mainly on the grounds that their outcome is just one of doing away with superficial particles versus growing a real inside colour difference as is the case with peroxide-situated whiteners. However, there may also be situations whilst a whitening toothpaste is the first-class option. One of the noticeable approaches to diminish staining of the enamel and advertise healthful gums is by means of consuming tons of water. Drinking plenty of water steers you clear of consuming fluids which might be darker and have a tendency to stain or discolor enamel. Coffee, tea, and above all darkish coloured soda's are a few of the most sensible beverages that depart stains on enamel. An occasional beverage that results in staining isn't a drawback. Constant intake of those varieties of drink isn't conducive to enamel whitening.

The mail active ingredient in teeth whitening products is hydrogen peroxide. So when I brush my teeth at night, I pour a little HP over the toothpaste and brush away. Seems to work as well, or better, than any whitening product I have used .... and, it is easier ... and, it cost less.

I have yet to find an over the counter teeth whitener that actually works. Go to your dentist and pay them to do it. It'll look a lot better and save you a great deal of worries.

OTC whiteners shouldn't harm your teeth. Ask a dentist.

It's probably fine to use two. If it's over the counter stuff it can't be that strong. Anyways now so many things have whitening power in them (toothpaste, moutwash, even floss) that it'd be hard to avoid using two!
