I have a really close friend who i have known for a couple of years, and i don't know why but shes started slitting her wrists and the back of her hand with sharpener blades. Shes does it in lessons right infront of me. And it really worries me.
Just the other day, my other friend was in serious trouble for doing the same thing, a teacher saw her and called home and now her parents dont treat her the same and she may have to go to a mental home. What should i do? I dont want my friend ending up like my other friend. Please help me? What should i do to help her?

My daughter has lost her glasses , but my insurance paid for a sceond pair. Well those have to stay at school so she has them at school always. I have an organization in this town that will pay for her pair to keep at home. Anyway I was wondering if & when I find my daughter's glasses since she won't need them is their an organization I can send them to for some other poor kid that needs them?

A friend of mine recently donated blood to the Red Cross, and received a letter following her donation, asking her to no longer donate. They explained she tested positive for Hep C, but upon running additional tests, she came back negative.

She wasn't too concerned, since the only exposure she could have had was if the needle used to donate was contaminated. She hasn't exposed herself to the other risk factors for Hep C.

Well, she is about 6-7 weeks pregnant now, and the doctor just called her to come back in for additional testing, because she tested positive on their initial tests. She had explained the situation about the Red Cross results during her first prenatal appt, which is why they ran the tests.

I've found a couple sites with FAQs on conflicting results online, but nothing is incredibly detailed when it comes to this. Obviously, she's very concerned for her baby and herself, not to mention confused.

Can anyone shed some light on this? What's going on?

I moved into my apartment in March of 06 and in June the carpets started to get flooded with water. Needless to say there was damage to the carpet and now their is mold growing on the carpet and walls. I have sent letters to the Management and they have had guys come out and clean the carpet and paint the walls without treating the problem. Also Their seems to be black mold growing in the bathroom. Their are holes in the walls where spiders and ants are comming thru. Also I didnt see this before. But there is black mold behind the toilet bowl. I mean she was going at it for atleast 20 minutes it felt great, Yet, i wasnt able to reach that point.. it was really close then it went away.. You would think that after 13 years I would be past what you did to me. You would think that I might even be well adjusted to life in general, but 13 yrs after I fianally told someone what you were doing to me I am still full of questions. I have spent my adolescence trying to ingonre the sick feeling I get when a man touches me, while at the same time trying to get the approval of every man I meet. I don’t understand how a grown man could have lustful thoughts or feelings about a child…an innocent little girl! I had a therapist I was seeing immedeatly after I told. I saw her twice. During the second session she told me that what you did was my fault so I have put a lot of thought into that. The conclusion I came up with was that it takes a truly sick person to be aroused by a child.

I live in a small town with my grandparents and work full time. When i say small i mean like under 4000. There are nothing but High schoolers here, im 22, and i dont have anyfriends. Someone who had an outbreak of herpes hugged me and their face touched my neck, several minuites later they told me that it was herpies (I thought it was just Acne) and I washed my neck discretely. What are the chances that i will develop herpies from this level of contact and if the viris is present will it appear at the area of contact or will it travel to the mouth?
