Im 16, been training for about 9 months (weightlifting). I train 5 times a week, and have never missed a workout or tried to avaoid one, even if I feel like absolute crap. When I get the fear that Im going to miss a workout i.e. lesson ending late etc, I become very frustrated, often smash something, shout etc etc etc. Even when I miss a meal I get very very p@@@@d off. During lessons and that, I find it very difficult to concentrate as Im constantly thinking about workout it. Anyone else have a similar problem? Is this even a problem, or very good determination and discipline? Or is it even a form of OCD?

Thanks for your help,

I am still on my parents insurance at least for another 6 months or so and I am thinking about getting on Adderall but I don't want them to know. Will my insurance make that available to my parents to see?

Please read before answering. My habit is unique due to the amount I smoke.

Typically, on a month-to-month basis, my cigarette intake is approximately 1-2 packs per month. I might have 1 cigarette after dinner about twice a week. On the weekends if I'm at a social gathering I might have 5-7 cigarettes (2-4 times per month).

I've been smoking this way for about 6-7 years and wondering if there are substantial long term effects to moderate use.

Please refrain from biased opinoins about smoking in general, and try to supply supporting information if you can as I was unable to find any for myself.

Hi! Need some advice please. My daughter is 11 and needs braces, she has a little bit of everything with her teeth; overcrowding, crooked, overbite, etc.

One ortho said he would have to extract 4 molars, and he doesn't do a palate expander. The other Ortho said - "no problem, no need for teeth extracting, she will benefit from the palate expander to make room for teeth movement.

My husband and I have also had braces when kids and we had teeth pulled as well. Funny enough, the first ortho we consulted with is the same ortho that did my husband's braces years ago!! He is very well in his late 70's or early 80's, although he looks really good and still has a great rep with his practice. The other ortho, i know my cousins had braces with and were very satisfied. I'm only asking if you think i should go for teeth extracting or not, it looks like it can be done either way, my daughter, doesn't want her teeth pulled though. Thanks!!!!!!!

I have just found out out that I have had high Blood Pressure since January. I am amazed that I have never been put on medication, since both my parents have passed away with conditions related to high blood pressure. They want to check Blood Pressure every week at the surgery, this is nearly impossible because of the distance I have to travel.

I have (I guess) IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) but the strange thing about it is that it exhibits its symptoms mostly on workdays (I get diahrreah and heatburn regularly on workdays). The condition is much less of a problem on weekends, holidays and vacation. Anyone else out there have this strange problem and if so, do you have a solution?
