People do it every day. Some women find they're extra aroused during their periods and for whatever reason, some men actually like period sex (as opposed to those who merely tolerate it.) I'd rather not myself, but that's just for the mess factor.
To the first responder: women do NOT urinate from their vaginas, not that I would expect a man to actually know anything about the female anatomy...

I have before, I have a light period and it was no big deal. It's best if you shower before or during.
Hey Chris G. women do not "piss" out of that hole. There is another hole for that, its called the urethra.

I did with my ex-girlfriend. It only meant more lube. I mean, how about this....you are having sex in a hole that is meant for a birth canal, and also for piss. Is that gross enough?
