I have been diagnosed with a large right herniation of the disk at the L5-S1 and I see a orthapedic doctor tomorrow, but right now i am in so much pain in my butt and down my right leg that all i want to do is scream. My Medical doctor put me on Loratab 10 and muscle relaxers but they do not help much. Is there anything else that i can do to help ease this pain. I am willing to try anything at this point. Please help me if you can, Thank you in advance.

About 5 or 6 months ago, I went to the dentist because my gums had started bleeding. As I brush my teeth twice a day and always at least rinse with water, I was just told to brush my gums more, or floss or use mouthwash. The symptoms went away, but now the bleeding is back (mainly when I floss) and 2 days ago I noticed my gum in between my two front teeth had swelled and was slightly red. Since yesterday, I have noticed another area of gum swelling and thin redness around about 3 or 4 more teeth. I don't understand as it has all happened so quick. I am worried. If it is only Gingivitis then what stage does it sound like? Also, my dentist appointment is 5 days away. I have went to get Corsodyl mouthwash to try and last me until then and have just started my first treatment. I can make an emergency appointment, but I don't know how necessary and appropriate it would be as I don't really know how bad it is...any advice?

I'm a 4'11, 19, female, virgin. For about the 3rd time, I've had my b/f to finger me. This time when he did it, I spotted on toilet paper with one wipe and with another, it was gone. I had gotten over my period on Sunday and I was producing plenty of lubrication. What could this be from?

I have been on depo provera for 3 yrs now. I really like not having periods, and the fact that I only have to remeber it every 3 months. But I'm worried about the bone loss, I bought supplements, but I can't remember to take them. SO any suggestions on birth control, that isn't once a day, and not the ring or IUD, anything that goes up there I'd rather not have, considering I just found out I have low grade abnormal cells on my cervix.

Your life was so stressed out that you were willing to try anything to end your life.

Let me give you a few example like Driving on the wrong side of the lane to get into a car accident, stabbing your self in the stomach with a butcher/steak knife, or Driving your car off a bridge? Those type of tendencies.

Have you ever had it, and what stopped you from acting on those tendencies?

I am bi-polar, have been for years. Infact my dad , my brother, and a few other people in my family have this disorder. I am on Lithium, and Seroquel. The medicine works very good, but I still have days where I get '' on edge '', if any of you are bi-polar, you know what I mean. I need to know how do I explain to my wife that the medicine is not a cure? Because when I do have a bad day, she starts running her mouth on me and says the medicine doesn't work, but I know it does work. She is always putting me down. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I am a female at the age of 25, and I am having this problem of my urine smelling funny. I drink plenty of water and I drink cranberry juice because I think that the water isn't enough by itself. My urine is clear and it still have that funny smell which I believe is the smell of ketones. Is there something I can do or could it be that my kidneys could be failing. I want to go to the doctoer but if there is something that I can do i would like to try that first.

FACTS TO PONDER:
(A) The number of physicians in the U.S. Is 700,000.

(B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians Per year are 120,000.

(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.
Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health Human Services.

Now think about this:

Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's
80 million..)

(B) The number of accidental gun deaths Per year, all age groups,
is 1,500.

(C) The number of accidental deaths Per gun owner Is .000188.
Statistics courtesy of FBI

So, statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more
dangerous than gun owners.
Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do."

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE
DOCTOR.

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!
Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld the
statistics on Lawyers
For fear the shock would cause People to panic and seek
medical attention
