MILK THISTLE
Milk Thistle is an indigenous American herb that provides nourishment to the liver, and can help: Nutritionally support your body's natural detoxification process Promote the body's natural defense against alcohol and environmental pollutants Nutritionally support the liver's natural ability to promote healthy cells Milk Thistle has been used by herbalists for thousands of years to promote liver health. It contains the natural substance sily-marin, which has been clinically proven to nutritionally support liver health against alcohol and environmental pollutants. This herb is found in dry, rocky soil. One of the active ingredients found in milk thistle is the flavonoid silymarin, which has been shown to have a direct effect on the cells of the liver, enhancing its overall function. The known medicinal value of milk thistle is almost exclusively to support the liver. Milk thistle has shown positive effects in treating nearly every known form of liver disease, including cirrhosis, hepatitis, necroses, and liver damage due to drug and alcohol abuse. Milk thistle works due to its ability to inhibit the factors responsible for liver damage, coupled with the fact it works to stimulate production of new liver cells to replace old damaged ones. It also acts as an antioxidant, with far greater free radical damage control than vitamin E. Other studies have found that milk thistle offers some protection against toxic side effects of the pain relieving drug acetaminophen.

some people have "normal" high liver enzymes. I have had a high level since I was a teenager. I have been through every test they could think of and the conculsion is that my normal is what is high to others.
milk thistle is great for your liver. I was able to bring my count down some by using it, but it went right back up. doc told me not to worry.
hope that all is well for you...don't worry until you know if there is a reson to worry! I know how stressful it can be!

You might want to consider all-natural Liver DTX Complex. It's a botanical blend that promotes liver health. Plant-based healers such as milk thistle seed extract, dandelion, and turmeric help flush out toxins, thwart free radicals, and support liver regeneration.
Key Ingredients: milk thistle, silymarin, silimarin, reishi mushroom, schisandra chinensis, dandelion, turmeric, and artichoke.
Hope this is useful and feel free to contact me with questions or the website.
