He is willing to do what it takes to get it back. How long will he have to wait?

Should pop up (or should I say poop up) in 2-3 days. I have actually put crowns back on like this. Just scrub it with alcohol before you bring it to the office.

Depends on what he has eaten. Fruits and vegies process in 8 - 12 hours, steak and all the trimmings can take up to 3 days to digest. aren't you glad it washes off?!

So, what's the story? WhY did he swallow the coin? GOT to be a doozie of a story.

Ooops, thought you said coin....I see, crown, logical.

usually if a crown comes off it wasn't going to work anyway. just go tell the dentist and if it was placed pretty recently then they will make you a new one. i know i'd rather do that than put that crown back in the mouth. sheesh!

takes up to 2 weeks sometimes. Get him some gloves tough. When you take it to the office tell them that you want it sterilized before recemented. Really that is not a big deal, people do that every day. Good Luck.

Ewwww. You know that means he is going to have to go through his poop for a few days to try and find it.....right? Not sure if it will be damaged in the digestion process. And I don't think I could ever have it put back into my mouth even if the dentist sterilized it.

A day or two, unless he helps things along with a laxative. If you want to just get it over with, get a "bowel prep kit" in the drug store like peolpe use before they are going to have a colonoscopy.

Do you really think a dentist is going to put a crown back in that's been through all that?
