A small gap can be closed fairly quickly, like a couple of months or less. There may be other problems that need fixing, but this answers your question anyway. You might even be able to have it done without braces if the gap is your only problem.

Next time, pay attention to the section. There is a dental section under "Health." You'd get more answers. I just saw this on the "New Question" notice and it will only display there for less than a minute.

If your orthodontist doesn't suggest braces way do it? If the space is small maybe just get a retainer to wear at night. I had to have braces for 2 and a half years in high school. Not that much fun. Plus, if the rest of your teeth are OK, I don't see the need. Inperfections in adults any more are sexy. A small gap in you teeth makes you stand out and memorable. I think you should put a little more thought into this decision. I am sure you are handsome with the gap.

usually braces are for different reasons than a gap in your teeth but before i did some research on this right now i just discovered that braces can cure a little gap between your teeth........but remember that braces are usually for people with an overbite or underbite or crooked teeth and also for people who have overlapping teeth........thats usually what braces are for but you should serisously talk to your dentist to see what options you should and could do.........i will tell you something........i just did some research on it and if your gap is smaller than 3mm then you could probably just get some "teeth effects bands"....talk to your dentist and do some reseach on this too because it might be the solution your looking for other than getting braces for a couple months to a year this product says it can do it in a few days

also if you or anyone reading my answer do not think i am in anyway advertising this product.....i've never used it and i just found it on the internet so dont report abuse on me just because of me telling you about the product.....i always report abuse on people who advertise their websites

Thats normal, theres nothing wrong with a small gap in your teeth. You can always get a filling from a dentist. I dont think they can tighten them to the gap, if they could it would just leave a gap in your other teeth.

It took me 6-8 months. Relatively fast.

Depends. You would need to get that information from the orthodontist. They have to do xrays and see if you need spacers first, remove a tooth, etc.

i would say less than a year...definitely! because if you do what your ortho says...your gap will be gone rather quickly...
